HAD a cousin in the same fix....one who litteraly never knew which end of a hammer to hold onto. He borrowed some money a miniscule amount, made the downpayment on a ‘fixer upper’ then had his friends teach him the fundamentals of carpentry and plumbing carpet laying...a little at a time as need be...he rented it out..used the proceeds to buy another one then another and so on. As you might imagine he’s out of debt ..as you may not imagine he now owns 26 units. I’m wondering if this gal’s hubby can’t or won’t do the same. Not sure if there is any physical or mental handicaps there but absent that...time to get a move on, kids! Hope this helps.

That's because the DemonRAT politicians YOU supported could care less about affordable college and decent jobs for American citizens. They spend all their time whining about passing the DREAM act so the "undocumented community" can attend college at cheaper rates than your husband, and then they can take his job thanks to affirmative action quotas.
Talk about liberal stupidity.
Don't even try to complain that there are no good jobs out there. That's your boy hussein's fault now. He and the MSM created the sense of gloom and doom and drove this Country into a recession. His policies have deepened and prolonged the recession.
The uncomfortable fact is that most of these deep-in-debt students should have went to state-run tech schools where they would have had a much better chance of getting a job and virtually no debt to pay off. Most college degrees aren't worth the paper they're printed on.
Take responsibility for your own actions.
There are all kinds of free and very inexpensive training programs all across this country. Apprenticeships, the military, community/junior colleges, trade schools, etc. Right now trucking companies will PAY YOU to become a truck driver. That’s right, not only is tuition free, you get paid in training!! The military, of course, is long famous for that. The oil and gas fields in North Dakota, Texas and other states are SCREAMING for truck drivers and other workers. Hard Work U (College of the Ozarks) just requires students to do work/study. Most companies have training programs and tuition reimbursement. Teachers and servicemembers can get their student loans forgiven.
