NEWBURY PARK — Complaints poured in Monday about a 10-foot-high wooden structure and neon sign in a quiet Newbury Park neighborhood that says “Romney’s Racist Heart Dotcom. Save the GOP.”

“It’s obnoxious. It’s an eyesore here. I wish it was gone,” said one neighbor.

Steven Showers, 59, built the display after doing research into Mormonism after it became apparent that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney would get the Republican nomination for president, according to the Ventura County Star.

“I love it. It’s the way I designed it,” Showers said.

If you maintain that your religion is the result of a direct divine revelation, then you can’t very well appeal to historical context to explain away your doctrines.

Well if not a fraud you are worse. You are a willing propaganda bot for the Neo Marxist corrupt incompetent in the White House.

Well done Traitor. Rather then invoking Patton, your sign on name should be Lord Haw Haw or Tokyo Rose.

In the historical context, I believe that Joseph was led less by divine inspiration and more by connivance.

Of course, you and I are free to believe that, but the Mormons are the ones in the pickle. If they say their religion is true, then their god is a racist. If they admit that Joey Smith made it up, then they can explain the racism, but they’re left with a fraud of a religion.

An unfortunate fact of race about Bishop Romney, is that he was issued a race based draft deferment by his religion (they were in charge of issuing their own deferments for the draft board to sign off on).

The Mormon draft deferments could not be given to black Mormons, only to non black Mormons. The idea that a black Mormon served in Vietnam for Mitt, or even died because of it, is a possibility.

Not a single black Mormon was given the Mormon draft deferment, ever.

.

Actually I see myself as a man that both Generals George Washington and Patton would be proud of, as well as Ronald Reagan ....

Your angst and anger are not personally directed towards me ...

But rather the EXTREME betrayal of genuine Patriots by the likes of the GOP-elites ...

Who, even we speak, are doing everything they can to LOSE this 2012 election ... just as Rush Limbaugh said today ...

Just remember what Einstein said about "insanity" and repeating past mistakes...

Best "Defeat Obama" regards ....

I see you live in Washington. I live in California which means that either of us voting for Romney isn't going to change anything.

My plan is to vote for the Green Party candidate. My hope is that the Green Party will get more than 5% of the national vote and will become an official thorn in the side of the Democrats.

Anyone who lives in a Red or toss-up state should hold their noses and vote for Romney. But those of us in hopelessly Blue states should vote Green Party IMHO.

The hope is that the truly demented liberals that think Obama is too conservative will join a viable Green Party and siphon votes away from the Democrats.

It is admittedly a vain hope, but it is better than throwing my vote away on a RINO regardless of his religious affiliations.
