NEW YORK (Reuters) - A wintry storm dropped snow on the U.S. Northeast on Wednesday and threatened to bring dangerous winds and flooding to a region still climbing out from the devastation of Superstorm Sandy. The nor'easter storm added misery to thousands of people whose homes were destroyed by Sandy, which killed 120 people when it smashed ashore on October 29 in the New York-New Jersey area, swallowing entire neighborhoods with rising seawater and blowing homes from their foundations.

They’re wanting you to give up your stored up supplies for sustaining your family in emergencies such as this. If you don’t you’re considered a hoarder and criminal actions will be take against you.
I agree. We’re dealing with intractable people who demand that their government loot and pillage the rest of us. It’s the law of the jungle.
The logical conclusion when dealing with an implacable enemy is that someone is going to die. I prefer it be them.
I say again, too bad, you've already taken my taxes to "help" with tragedies, they are helping, I guess. At least Obama did enough so that you all made it to the polls to reelect him.
I'm from the Midwest where we face tornados and floods all of the time. How many times did people from the NE hop in their cars or trucks to come out to the Midwest to help us dig our and rebuild, actually I can tell you before you scratch your head wondering -NEVER!

Let me tell you something else. I make my living traveling these United States. I’ve been to NYC area more times than I care to think about. It’s a sh*t hole. I used to start getting pissed by the time I got to Erie, on the way east.
The only upside to the flooding is perhaps the ever-present smell of stale urine will be washed away for a week or two.
This adequately describes my feelings:

oh I don’t wish actual harm on them....I want them to live...but I want them in shelters and govt trailors and eating govt cheese....and enjoy it of course...

I hate to say it, but there might now have to be both conservative and liberal relief organizations, because I simply will not donate anything that isn’t aimed toward the people that I would want to help, and away from the one’s that deserve to suffer. It’s sad that I feel that way, but there it is. Also, some time ago, I decided to selectively organize any help I might provide to say...someone stranded on the side of the road. Obama or related sticker? No help, just drive on by. Night or day, male or female, bad area, I don’t care. Such is the level of division now. We are no longer citizens of the same country. That unity is completely broken.
.....maybe if the “folks” in those cities just tried to be self-reliant, they’d be prepared for these unfortunate eventualities......just saying.
