What is this “Johnny Football” garbage? Such a puerile nickname. Sorry, not impressed. He has three touchdowns against ranked opponents. As for Bama . . . well, Manti would not want to play for such a genetic cesspool squad rife with so many gray-shirts and junior college transfers. He has more integrity than that.
I take it you have never seen him play....save your criticizing until after you see him play. I am a woman and football isn’t my life, but Johnny is really something. He is also very good in his classes at Texas A&M. The arrest was because he was taking up for a friend. Anyway, he’s a good kid. We are happy to have him in our community.
Manti was robbed!
An undeserving freshman. All hype. Sorry. I’m old school . . . the award should go to a senior.
Well... the Cotton Bowl just wrapped up. Still think he’s all hype?
Hey ther MrChips! Guess what? Your friend mante whatever teo? Not only was he completely a non-factor in the championship game, wherein his team was humiliated and outplayed, his whole girlfriend story is being reported as 100% fake. And so there was no girlfriend? What? But he got all those awards!
How sad that he was almost given the Heisman. And look at all the awards he DID win! Oh, and he has too much integrity to play for Alabama, you said.
This thread, now makes me laugh. His GF was as non-existent as his play during the Championship game.
LOL. Well, Manti still had a great year, though.
Manti Te'o ought to move to South Carolina and run for Congress in the First District--He could give Mark Sanford some competition!
Yes, Te'o deserved the Heisman on the basis of personal character alone. There needs to be a recount of the Heisman vote!
