A crowd of people rallied against gun violence at the Georgia State Capitol in honor of Trayvon Martin Tuesday, the one year anniversary of his shooting death. Many of the protesters were speaking out against so-called “stand your ground” laws, which allow gun owners to use deadly force if they feel as if their lives are in danger.
During the rally, one female protester — wearing an Obama hat — told WGCL-TV that using a firearm in self-defense “is not an option.”
“It’s not an option,” she repeated.
The reporter then asked her, “But what if someone is trying to kill you?” She replied, “They’ll just have to kill me.”

Used to think (or at least hope) the the J Leno ‘Jaywalking’ fools were either plants, or just stage struck or whatever, but everytime a lib opens their mouth - take joebama and maxine today, and figure since they are Seniors Politicians, VP’s and pResident whom are supposedly the ‘smart ones’ no wonder the voter (such as this fool) are raging imbeciles.
That is actually a perfectly legitimate choice, and I respect her for that. However, she does not have the right to choose that for everyone.

Well princess, with that way of thinking, you might get your wish to be put in that situation to have to make that call. However, I hope you don’t have any young children who might be with you at the time and in harms way and you can’t protect them.

I can’t say this surprises me. I’ve seen this mentality first hand in my cousin. I can’t even get him to touch a weapon. He almost recoils at the sight of one of those evil black rifles. I’m about sure he’d rather die than to use one to defend himself, if it came down to it.
Just shockingly sad, what our modern culture has done to what would otherwise be good men.
However, as strong as the instinct to live is, there are circumstances where the mind overrides it.
Of course, she's never been in a situation to choose, so who really knows until that happens.

I'm female and the survivor of a violent crime that caused me to lose the use of my dominant arm. It's just a prop now that hangs at my side. If anyone threatens me I will shoot them dead without giving it a second thought.
The perp got a plea deal and didn't serve any time. I got a painful disability but I don't consider myself a victim. I'm a survivor.

In other words, it’s a real bummer for scumbags if in the act of repeatedly slamming someone’s head into concrete merits your own a$$ being shot off.
Why don’t these vermin just off themselves, and spare us having their stench in our nostrils?
