Jim Andersen has a 40-year history with hashish, the concentrated cannabis sometimes referred to as the cognac of the marijuana world.
When he served in the Air Force in Southeast Asia, he said he smuggled it home in his boots. When he was in grad school in California, he made it with a centrifuge in a lab after hours. So when Washington was on the verge of legalizing the sale of taxed pot last fall, Andersen decided to move back to his home state and turn his hobby into a full-time, legitimate paychecka business that would supply state-licensed, recreational marijuana stores with high-quality hash oil.
The regulators at Washingtons Liquor Control Board, who are charged with overseeing the creation of the new legal pot industry, issued draft rules this month saying hash and hash oil can be used in marijuana-infused productseven if the product thats being infused is just a drop of olive oil or glycerin, for example. In effect, the stores can get around the ban on hash- or hash-oil sales by simply adding a minuscule amount of some other substance to what is otherwise nearly pure THC, the primary high-inducing compound in cannabis.

“A little dab will do ya!” (It’s not your father’s Brylcream)
This is why we have legislatures. A lot of people think pot is ok but harder drugs aren’t. Each state can draw its own line. There are no bright lines.
Back in the day when I partook in illicit substances I much preferred hashish over ordinary pot. It’s a much mellower experience in my view.
Drug-abuse prevention advocates argue the proliferation of extracts has also coincided with a dramatic rise in marijuana-related emergency room visits, often for severe panic attacks.
Get ready for the visit from the Moochelle Food Nazis.
I can’t answer that one. I never experienced one from hash. Notmsayingnit doesn’t happen, just that it never happened to me.
It would probably happen to me since I’m kind of that way anyway. Going to stay away from it.
Why, that’s next, of course. Then cocaine, and etc.
For some reason, my friend was able to ride on military transport planes to visit his father for Christmas break. He would come back with a big brick of hash hidden in the middle of a giant jar of vaseline. He said there was no customs to go through on the military transport.
All decisions of this nature are very personal. I no longer partake in this stuff but back in the day I consumed box car loads of it. For the record I’m in my early 50’s, an IT professional who makes well over 100k. So no long term I’ll effects on that score.
Have a good day.
It is produced by beating pot stocks on clay walls and scraped off the wall. It clay harmful to smoke?
Well, that’s about double what I was making in 1999 when had to leave IT and the workforce. Don’t need any more problems now.
Already Illegal in New York City!!!!
How about making “pot cigars”?
Use a less “strong” pot so you have to smoke more and roll it the same way a cigar would have to rolled.....
It's the same thing!
However, unlike alcohol, one cannot smoke enough pot or hash to kill themselves.
Typically a small ball of hashish is put in a small piece of aluminum foil, which is folded to have it in an envelope. Then two butter knives are heated, the aluminum packet set on one, then the other hot knife pinches the packet, incinerating the hashish. The smoke that comes out is inhaled through a toilet paper tube to keep it from diffusing.
why not cocaine, why not multiple wives.....why not....
Me too mylife. I love hash and fried eggs! mmm...mmm...mmm!!!
