So, George Zimmerman was scared the night he shot Trayvon Martin through the heart. Know who else was probably pretty scared that night? Trayvon Martin.
Surprised I’m asking? Me too. But it seems like a lot of people haven’t thought much about that.
Obviously, Trayvon isn’t here to tell us how he felt. He’s dead. And a lot of folks disregarded Rachel Jeantel’s account of him being afraid even though she was the last person to hear Trayvon speak (besides Zimmerman). She heard his fear through the phone. She heard him try to run away. He was scared.
And yet there’s a disturbing silence in public discussion about it.
What in the hell is going on?
Why is it so hard to imagine that a teenager walking home at night would be afraid if a strange, angry-looking guy started following him? A bigger, older, guy in a truck.
Why is it so hard for some people to understand his fear escalating when the angry guy got out of the truck and confronted him? Why is it so hard to imagine how his fear must have rocketed skyward when the angry guy brandished his gun? (Of course, he brandished it or showed it somehow. How else would Trayvon even know it was there on a dark and rainy night?)
Why can’t we put ourselves or our children in Trayvon’s Martin tennis shoes? Because Zimmerman was what every parent regardless of race in America warns a child about — “stranger danger” — with a gun.
So how come half the country identifies with Zimmerman?(continued)

First of all Melvina you’ve got your facts all wrong. Trayvon was several inches taller than Zimmerman. He was not the innocent little 12 year old displayed by the MSM ad nauseum; he was 17 at the time, drug addicted, into Fight Club, had been caught with what appeared to be 12 pieces of stolen jewelry and a burglary tool in his backpack at school. Plus he doubled back around to confront Zimmerman before he could get bak to hs vehicle to gove him a beatdown. Add to that there were numerous buglaries reported within the last year citing a black male matching Trayvon’s description, peering into windows in the neighborhood.
But don’t let facts get in the way of your racial rant...
She must not have heard about the four minutes Trayvon had to complete one hundred yards of distance to his father’s unit.
If he walked them, we all would be discussing something else.

Dear Melvina, Trayvon was on his way home we're told. Trayvon was 6 foot 2 or 3. Zimmerman was five foot eight or so.
Therefore, if we go with the "bigger" theme, then we've got to mean that Zimmerman was fatter than Martin.
A mere 70 yards from the house where he was staying, Trayvon could have been in the door in total safety within 30 seconds.

When she walks around in public she better make damn sure she doesn’t walk in the same general direction as black men because evidently that gives them permission to beat you up. You just reminded me of the excuse the liberals used back in the Reagan years as to why the Soviet Union had to have so many missiles aimed at us and why they had to militarily invade and occupy so many of their neighbors. We made them paranoid because we were so aggressive with our military.
He was sooooo skeerd that he confronted this person that was “following” him. TM wasn’t being followed - all he had to do was go 70 yards and not return if he was so scared.
TM chose to return instead, thus sealing his fate. I have no empathy for a street thug that told GZ he was going to die that night as he was pounding his head into the concrete.
Nobody gives any thought or speaks any words to the effect of TM’s state of mind being either confrontational or downright vigilantist in nature (if he thought GZ was a gay stalker per Jenteal).

What got glossed over from the very beginning was that Rachel was a reluctant witness. Why reluctant? One would like to think that she would want to come forward to shed light on just what kind of monster George is.
She would not be reluctant because she may have, oh, I don’t know, egged Trayvon on to confront George and teach that crazy azz cracka a lesson?
Trayvon would have been home drinking a cold drink if’n he hadn’t doubled back and surprised George. He doubled back because Rachel told him to. That’s why she was reluctant.
And(I know, I know, never start a sentence with a conjunction) talk about your tampered with witness. Her testimony was developed and rehearsed with the help of her handlers.
Her personal hand-written statement, which she did not write and could not read in open court. Why somebody has not been arrested for the made up testimony that was Rachel is beyond me.
