Romney went squishy on immigration during the 2012 general election.

By 2015, Romney pulled a 180, and he was publicly criticizing Trump for supporting the same immigration hawk policies that Romney had supported in 2012.

In the end, Romney - who I believed and Ann believed - turned out to be an immigration dove and a liar.

Trump - who I never believed - turned out to be an immigration quadriplegic.

Nonsense. President Trump has sent many funding requests to Congress on immigration. And what does he get back? Garbage. He declared a national emergency. What did he get? Opposition from Romney.

Here is Coulter supporting Romney post 2012 (2015!):

Honesty, when I read garbage like you write I think POTUS should just ride back up that escalator and leave the country at the mercy of the Uniparty. We don’t deserve him.

LOL!

Thanks for sending me an isolated, June 2015, context-free quote from Ann Coulter.

And, thanks for sending me the C-Span film clip, where you have deliberately edited out the phoned in question that Ann was responding to.

Ann made that statement ONE WEEK after Trump announced he was running for the GOP nomination.

Ann praised Trump's immigration platform, but then said Trump was not a serious candidate - because Trump was not a serious candidate the previous THREE times he ran for president - twice as a Democrat, and once for Ross Perot's party.

Romney did not publicly denounce his own 2012 immigration platform until AFTER he was elected to the Senate in 2016.

Ann's quote happened 16 months BEFORE Romney flip-flopped.

As president, Trump's 2015 immigration hawk platform has transformed into, “I am completely helpless.”

Ann Coulter disagrees, and says that Trump is not even trying.
