Hi.
“...it was an indictment of President Donald Trumps character in office.”
Horse shit.
5.56mm
Typical. Never letting a tragedy (for them) go to waste.
To have such an evil person as Hillary Clinton attack our President and his wife at a funeral tells one everything about todays Democrat Party. Disgusting.
may he rest in peace but this public service line is laughable....he died a wealthy man
If a representative dies in office, is it uncouth to continue to ask: Where did the money for Baltimore go?
Cummings was a living testament to the phrase: “living on your laurels”.
Once the civil rights act was signed, he had no other weapon, with which to beat whitey!!
He graduated college in 1976, he wasn’t in on the civil rights act.
“quote attributed to Mark Twain”
“I purchased the horse on the recommendation of a man whom I later discovered was the auctioneers brother. I determined that should the auctioneers brothers funeral occur while I was in the vicinity I would postpone all other forms of recreation to attend it.”
My mother always said to say something good about people when they die.
Elijah Cummings is dead.
Good.
Yep! Communists/demoncrats never let a good funeral go to waste...
So just how many people have been condemned to hopeless lives of welfare dependency by Trump vs Cummings?
Yeah. I thought so.
Yes, the RATs are so predictable.
On another thread, I predicted “Wellstone funeral redux.”
Didn’t take a whole lot of insight on my part, so don’t think I’m bragging here.
What Trump said about cummings, while he was alive, was accurate. What the democrats used his funeral for was despicable.
“... Trump ... [pointed] out whats appallingly happened to somewhere like Baltimore and demanded answers from someone like Cummings.”
A very short-lived, media/demokrap defense of Cummings - very difficult to overcome the real pictures to what Trump was revealing. Cummings became noticeably very quiet. I wonder if his being outed so had a very negative impact on his health leading to his demise.
Speak well of the dead they say, but his reputation is now defined not by his long political career, by a final act - national and local exposure of being a long term professional con man perhaps, his not helping the people of Baltimore. Very sad.
Sometimes it is about Trump. But surely sometimes, praise is just praise. Sometimes it's intensely political. Sometimes it's just going through the motions.
I'd say, sure, some of the speakers were definitely referencing Trump, but it would be stretch to say that everything everybody said about the congressman was really about the president.
Nothing new here.
Liberals use people. All people. Dead ones, too.
I was going to try to get a Lyft from Adia, I figured the Honda was going to be available.
The two parts of Cummings' extremely gerrymandered district are far apart with a very narrow connecting channel. The upscale parts are in nearby counties. It's the city part that has the majority of the population and it's anything but upscale.
He had to go on to actually work to fight for the soul of our democracy against very real corruption, Maya Rockeymoore Cummings, the Maryland Democrats widow, said at New Psalmist Baptist Church
Says she who stole 6 million of govt $$, hell of a way to fight corruption!
Rockeymoore runs two entities, a nonprofit group called the Center for Global Policy Solutions and a for-profit consulting firm called Global Policy Solutions, LLC, whose operations appear to have overlapped, according to the IRS complaint filed by watchdog group the National Legal and Policy Center on Monday. The complaint states that the arrangement may have been used to derive “illegal private benefit.”
Global Policy Solutions received more than $6.2 million in grants between 2013 and 2016, according to tax records. Several of the nonprofit groups financial backers which included Google, J.P Morgan, and Prudential have business interests before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Cummings has served as Democratic chairman of the committee since January and previously served as ranking member.
