What makes me sad is that this sort of thing is (for me) yet another strong argument for LIMITED government. So many politicians are immoral. And imperfect. And have such poor judgment that they post about this stuff on Facebook. They’re just people. Ordinary, flawed people. That’s their life, their business. BUT do I want such people running my life? No. No, I do not.
And that is why I want politicians to have very little power or control. Government should do as little as possible. But, all too often, it is silly people like this guy who represent “our side” and they step up and say, “Step aside citizen, I will fix everything!”. Spare me.

Ten years ago I would have agreed with you, but not anymore. Public office is exactly where misfits and perverts belong … along with circus animals, too.
I was no fan of Roy Moore in the Alabama U.S. senate race a few years ago, but I was probably one of the few people on FR who would have voted for him even if every one of the ridiculous allegations against him was TRUE,

Maybe “explosive” would have been the more fitting adjective?

You’d be handing the Democrats a win, if that was an absolute standard.

One can make that case for nearly all of our politicians.

[Stan Pulliam - ethically and morally bankrupt. These are not the types of people we need with an “R” after their names.
Traditional marriage is part of what Republicans should be standing for - this makes a joke of that.]
Roger Stone was a swinger and Trump was a serial adulterer - with porn stars, no less. Used to be I’d only vote for straight arrows like Dubya and Romney. These days, it’s clear that their repressed urges find other outlets - they’re great to their wives, but screw their voters.

That is far and away the best summary of the situation, not just in Oregon but everywhere.

It would be nice but not real. Sinners abound. Stop Alinsky-ing our side. I agree! But in advertising it, he pretty much put it out there for criticism. I personally know a number of couples who participate in various forms of open relationships. The large majority of them are very discrete about it so as not to affect their day to day life. Most of those I know of, you would never guess they were into such a thing. I learned a long time ago to never judge people by their outward appearance. Me personally, I could care less about people's sexual preferences as long as it's not pushed on me, is fully consensual, and doesn't involve children.

Exactly right. The disjointed hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance on this site are remarkable to see.
How many losers on FR would prefer Mike Pence over Donald Trump? LOL.
