There are millions of unwanted old dogs in shelters being euthanized every day. The vast majority of people want a cute little puppy. Then when they get tired of them, they dispose of them like old clothing and get a cute little puppy…

I'm at the age where I don't want my kids having to deal with pets after I'm dead. It's bad enough they'll have to clear out my apartment, and I'm not a hoarder by any means. I had to clear out my mother's, and one of my sister's apartments after they passed. Thankfully neither of them had any pets.

I’ve been in the same situation and don’t want to saddle my kids with our house full of stuff.

Unfortunately, mr needs to get on board with organizing and clearly stuff out.

Your post is correct—but people want what they want—and government prohibition just creates black markets—in this case for puppies.

Thank you. He’s started but it’s very slow going. He’s been a hoarder and it’s tough for him to tackle sorting and tossing stuff.
