Thank you.
It’s a saddening read, but what happened, did happen. I had only known his older biography, which, needless to say, didn’t mention his sexuality.

Well. “Approaching revenge”.

FAFO.

Loose the dogs of war, you had better have a plan to win. Revenge is normal. It’s also the least of Hamas’s problems.

...and I don't blame the IDF one bit if it does. Hamas started it and deserves whatever Israel gives them to finish it.

Here, I have to disagree.

The Paris Peace Conference of 1919 "started it", and Israel's unwillingness or inability to gain victory makes them constantly vulnerable to defeat.

Of course, Vardakar's objections violate the FAFO rule which governs all martial activity - in this case. Hamas staged a HUGE provocation and has yet to roll out Act II or even a credible warplan. As others have pointed out, they deserve what they get.

But, by failing to win the war which has been going on for at least 75 years, Israel also "deserves" the fate of the weak who play at war. Israel's inability to win their war has cost, and continues to cost, America a price we will not pay willingly forever.

The objective of war is to kill people and break their things, so they can no longer kill your people and break your things.

What’s wrong with revenge? It’s a good motivator. Just as long as, this time, the revenge means a permanent erasure of Hamas.

I would argue that IDF does have the ability to win the war. Rather, it is political interference by the US and others who prevent a once-and-for-all end to the war. I've recently stated elsewhere that since we let politicians set the ROE, we have ham-strung the military from winning a war. Indeed, since politicians entered the war management arena, the US has not won a war. We pay generals for the expertise and we should let them exercise it. They know that a quick war saves lives on both sides versus a protracted war. We might still be fighting door-to-door in Japan is Truman didn't have the stones to see the benefit of a quick end to the war.

Let the Israels' figure out how they want to end the war, not the main stream media.

The US is the biggest obstacle to Israel against the Palestinians. They continually interfere with Israel being able to finish the job, and have been doing so since 1956.

Since we are their main source of weapons, we lord over them and threaten to cut them off if they don’t stop, so they have to leave it unfinished time and again.

If the drug cartels were lobbing rockets over into the US EVERY SINGLE DAY, like Hamas does Israel. Does anyone think we would NOT blow them up and depopulate the whole northern half of Mexico, if necessary?

REALLY, does anyone think we would put up with an attack on our people like what happened to Israel without a major body count?

Bears repeating. ANd I am sick of the term innocent Palestinian, cause they ALL celebrate the killing of Jews. Every damn one of them...

War is hell, so if you are going to war, then make if fast, brutal and finish the damn job.

I understand the politics of it. What I don’t understand is why those politics don’t just let the IDF finish the job. What is the reason behind the US policy?

If you are in a conflict and you wish to effectively communicate with your enemy, you use a language the enemy understands.

I predicted to my younger co-worker that the world and the US would turn on Israel with the month. I really hoped I would be wrong, but here we are.

What I didn’t count on was how viciously: and how many Jew hating bastards there are in the US and the rest of the world. They claim to be pro Palestine, but the real reason is clear to see. They hate Jews and they don’t mind you knowing it.

They are almost proud of it. Women raped, babies deliberately murdered, civilian targeted for torture and murder and these “so-called” pro-Palestine protesters support this.

This is just anti-Semitic, Jew-hating, racial hate. And the liberals are all for it. Maybe the liberal Democrat voting Jews will finally see the light.

The Taoiseach has said that what is happening in Gaza is not just self-defense on the part of Israel, but it “resembles something more approaching revenge”.

The Taoiseach should mind their own business. If Ireland had 1400 of its people demonically attacked, burned alive, beheaded, roasted alive in ovens, kidnapped, raped, etc., I'm sure they'd want to eliminate, forever, the satanic brutes who did it. Put a sock in it, buddy, you got no dog in this fight, muzzie lover.

That’s extremely rich, considering how the Irish go on and on and on and on .. ad nauseum .. about how they were treated by the English, and I didn’t ever hear of the IRA deciding that “enough was enough” ...
