Julie Newmar -- either as Cat Woman on the original Batman on TV, or as Stupifyin' Jones in Li'l Abner. The Godess. He bows low. Felicity Fahrquar bows low as well. (P.S. There's a regular poster on FR who played Stupifyin' Jones in high school. Shhhh. I'll never give up the secret.)

That's FEWER curves, not LESS.
Less curvy, perhaps. But heh, who's counting... 36-24-36...

Reminds me of the passage from the letters of Archie Butt, Military Aide to T. Roosevelt and WH Taft. In his letters to his sister-in-law, he described a Diplomatic dinner at the White House from January, 1909:
The diplomats were, of course, all there. We herded them in the state dining room before the crowd began to come. The American women among them were the most beautiful; in fact, there were no handsome women in the line of diplomats who were not American born. The Baroness Moncheur was by all odds the most beautiful among them and was the cynosure of all eyes. She is the daughter of Gen. Powell Clayton of Arkansas and a sister of Mrs. Grand Duff, whom you met in Cuba. She is a wonderful looking woman. Her figure is pronounced by the Baron Hungelmuller, who is said to be an authority on figures of women, to be the most perfect one he has ever seen. As she passed down the line last night I felt proud of her. I was in the state dining room before the reception began with a view of getting the diplomats in line.I was talking with Mr. Jusserand, the French Ambassador, when the Baroness Moncheur passed. We both followed her with our eyes, and finally the veteran Ambassador said:
Ahh, Butt, truly the triumph of the American woman is her back!
Several years ago when Wentworth Dilke of England, son of Savannahs distinguished relative, Sir Charles Dilke, was on a visit to this country and I was piloting him about Washington he caught a glimpse of the Baroness Moncheur at a ball of the British Embassy, I think it was. He asked me who she was, and when I told him he said:
She must be Austrian. No other women have such backs.
No, I said, she is American. She is from Arkansas.
Ah, ah, Arkansas,he grunted several times, readjusting his monocle. Where is Arkansas? Is it one of your new South Sea possessions?
It would seem that the Italians are almost alone among the modern Euros in their appreciation of healthy women. From my limited journeys to the Continent, it was the central Europeans (the Germans and French) who preferred the lithe, Goth-style women.
Those from around the Mediterranean (Spanish, Italian) had much better taste.
And, as I recall, the author of the study we are discussing is an AUSTRIAN.
Nobody asked me either.
If you insist...
This thread is getting fun!
I've met Claudia Schiffer, Frederique, Daniela Pestova...they are impossibly sexy in person, all curves. Only thing different is they're about 5'10" tall. The lesser models like Kate Moss are gross thin, but serve a different role. I've also met alot of "adult" actresses, most have perfect bodies and are around 5'6". A few are as stunningly beautiful as the pro models. (I met one at the Mirage tuesday and almost knocked over some high dollar statue when she smiled at me).
As far as the article goes, they have it 180 degrees wrong. For 40 years, Hefner's type was tall long hip blondes; natural, no muscle tone. Now it's more the "adult" actress type..hardbodies, shorter, younger, leaner.
No fem writer would ever admit the truth about what men desire in physiques of these famous models, because then they've have to admit that it takes working out hard in the gym every day to create these bodies.
Gotcha!...
This thread could go on for days...
