Martyr, Ironic that is also the reference to Palistineans who tie bombs around themselves and blow up a bus full of teenagers

And here is another. these are genuine, actually of her, showing Palestinian children how to burn American flags. There appear to be none of her showing how to lubricate tank treads.

Rachel Corrie (shown at the 2002 Burning Man festival), was remembered by friends as being a committed peace activist But not having an abundance of common sense

"Rachel was filled with love and a sense of duty to her fellow man wherever they lived, and she gave her life trying to protect those who are unable to protect themselves," they said.

No. She admitted on a TV interview that her group had merely been able to delay the destruction of terrorist homes long enough for them to "remove some furniture" SO actually she gave her life trying to protect some crappy used furniture. What a dumbass.

"committed peace activist"

Perhaps she should have left off the "peace activist part" and simply been "committed". She'd be alive now, wouldn't she? Flag burning B----

Killed Activist Is Recalled

A very astute headline, IMO.

Very unfortunate. This little idiot may have eventually grown up and made something of herself.

Now all she gets for her trouble is her own funeral and her name printed on a bunch of anti-war signs.

Ms Corrie - "If you can understand people who are different than you, you can help resolve the conflict."

I can see how well this theory worked for her.....

I do feel badly for her and her family that it ended this way.

It's a little late for a recall, she's already dead. The proper time for a recall would have been last week.

Too bad nobody will remember her a week from today.

She died for a worthless cause, just like so many misguided young people.

Prayers for her parents who are probably distraught and depressed.
