That's not a voluntary effort, it's only because so many of their politicians, like the clown in Vancouver, have their heads firmly implanted up their rectums.
Ah yes, Vancouver, the free my dope crowds shinning example on the sound. The city where 911 operators run commercials on TV warning the public that due to funding cuts (which I'm sure can be blamed on the war on drugs....funny, the Canadians seem so affraid of any other war) they just might not be able to answer your call...hope it isn't life or death.
Ah yes, the city that declared itself a nuclear free zone (those heathen U.S. WARships need not visit).
That city that reaffirmed it's opposition to the imperialistic warmongering of President Bush...oddly enough while protecting the largest community of Islamic Fundalmentists outside the Arab world in one of their norther suberbs. A community of Islamic extermists tied to 9/11 and attempts to smuggled explosives into the U.S. But Vancouver does worry about terrorists crossing their border...that's why American's are always asked, sometimes repeatedly, if they are carrying firearms.
That shinning example of a city that just ten short years ago was clean and pleasant to visit, whereas now many of it's communities are filthy and very nice to avoid.
A city where, for the past ten years, seeing a zone out doper in ANY China Town alley lying in a pool of vomit, some with the needles still in their arms, is a common sight.
It's nice to see that in a city where the drugs laws have hardly been enforced for the past decade, a new mayor has taken a firm stand against...WHAT?
Let's see, they already have gun control. Socialized medicine is in place...not very good but mandated by law. Cops don't need warrants in many cases; but what the heck, if they ain't after you dope no big deal. Their economy is in a shambles...but there have been some signs of improvement lately.
Hmmmmm? What other outside the box thinking have they done that we would want to immulate here in America?
No, that was cr@p research that confused correlation with causation.
Now, when will you provide evidence for your claim that "if drugs were available legally and easy like some want, we'd have so many people 'trying' them (way more than now)"?
