While I appreciate your sincerity in regard to Africa, have you given any thought as to why that savior of the world, the UN, isn't on fire to save Africans? [They're too busy milking the Oil for Food program and protecting themselves from discovery, aren't they?] Have you asked yourself why the French, those morally superior and highly refined folk, haven't stepped forward to save Africans? In other words-- what the heck is wrong with the rest of the world? Are the people of the US the only ones with the responsibility to be self-sacrificing?
Darn, since you're banned, I'll never know your response.

A nation's foreign policy is, and should be, driven by its vital interests. Real politik in the classic sense dictates that we react to place our resources in those regions of the world most likely to have an adverse effect on our interests absent our intervention.
If Africa's tribal and ethnic civil wars had the potential to affect our commercial or defense interests, or those of allies upon we rely or with whom we have treaty obligations, it is certain that we would do more than simply condemn the results of that local civil strife.
Historically, humanitarian tragedies are met with relief aid not military intervention. The posted piece is extreme foolishness.

Dear qlo2,
Your post has humbled me. I was a hardened Bushbot and a proud, card-carrying member of the VRWC until I read your insightful and well-written post.
Never have I seen such a masterful use of capital letters before--they really hammered your point home. Your big-talking made your words IMPORTANT. You write with a deft and clever hand, my friend.
I have seen the error of my ways, the folly of my patriotism, and will now vote a hard-left ticket for ever and ever and ever...
Now, I must go shave my head in pennance. </extreme sarcasm.>

"20,000 muslims were killed by DEMOCRATICALLY elected leaders"
absolutely.
This is because even the IMAMS largely admit that Islam is completely incompatible with democracy. Meaning, they cannot coexist.
Do you wanna have free people?
Islam has usually gotta go.
Go buy a new prayer rug habib.
Perhaps allah the merciless head chopper will explain it to you.

TWICE the number of people die EVERYDAY in Africa because of lack of food and amenities. As far as I know, the situation in Africa, is in order of 10000000000000 times worse than in Iraq Then tell them to clean their pits up.

I know
and no matter how many letters I write they keep sending money anyway,
but we're still working on reducing it to zero.
As to other dictators,
I don't much like them either.
