Theyre back. The Ballad of Becky and Sean continues as our erstwhile twentysomethings take on Fahrenheit 911, the political conventions, and people who are just plain MEAN.
"Beckys STEPDAD was going to vote Republican because he drove an SUV and wore SUITS to THE OFFICE. And her STEPDAD was WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING and HE NEVER LISTENS. She wasnt going to vote Republican, no way. You cant make me if I dont want to, she thought.
Becky and Sean thought the Democratic convention was cool, because it talked about HEALTHCARE and how OIL was being shed for BLOOD. Or maybe it was the other way around. Sometimes Becky had a hard time remembering what people said when they said more than a few sentences at a time.
During the Democratic convention, when Kerry was saluting everybody, Becky said to Sean, Remember in history class when we watched the movie Platoon? That movie was about John Kerry.
Really? That was a good movie because it showed that war is stupid and the only way to fight back is through PROTEST. That reminded Sean of MICHAEL MOORE and FAHRENHEIT 911, because the same music was in both movies."

I am particularly proud of the line "Becky and Sean loved FAHRENHEIT 911 because its the temperature where the truth burns."
BTW, I need some feedback. What is a good college for Becky and Sean to have gone to?
Welesly or Berkley
.... and your point is.....?
Evergreen College and they have a Rachel Corrie commemorative doormat.
If they're in Seattle, then they went to Evergreen State College.
I eat falafel. Falafel is awesome. The best stuff comes from the vending carts in Israel though.
Outside of the falafel, it's very funny. I've bookmarked your site.
I believe that's Everclear State College.
