Obituary, May 12 2006: Greil Marcus died in crack flop house of AIDS complications. Apparently, he died many days ago according to the county coroner, who said maggot larvae growth in his nasal and anus cavities established his time of death. Authorities are having trouble finding his next of kin.
Ah, I see. It is one of those freebie papers that primarily exists to make money off of sex ads (the back 1/3) that litter the streets of many larger towns

In the past weeks he's seen Fidel Castro and Yasir Arafat hospitalized near death and John Kerry's scampaign exposed as a media fraud (the mea culpas are already coming out).
We rocked his world Tuesday. It's morning in America ONCE AGAIN.
To all those wondering why it was posted, it's because it was on a media website.
It's because it exposes to its core the thinking of the left that is still pervasive in this country (much like all of those DU threads that are posted here, or the articles of Mark Morford which are always posted here).
Because Greil Marcus has been quite influential in leftist thinking.
