I love the people who were born in the 80s complaining about feeling old. Too funny! I was born in '66 and still don't feel old!

Actually I was born in 1964 and just turned 40 this year. I don't feel old at all, really. That is one of the reasons I posted this thread. I'm still very much the same as I was in my 20s. That is why it is just so surprising to realize that many things that only seem like several years ago are actually 20+ years ago. The thing that keeps popping into my mind is how I felt about the 60s when I was a young adult in the 80s. To realize that is how kids today see the 80s is just weird to me (and I'm sure to any generation).

I hate threads like this, it reminds me I'm no longer 18, even though I feel that way.

I was born in 1966 too. B-) Yeah, I think some of this is tongue in cheek, but actually when you compare us to the kids in college today, we have seen a lot, 3 Popes, the fall of Communism, two Gulf Wars and 9-11. When I talk about the Cold War to some "yung uns," they look at me like I'm an old geezer. B-) Well, it pays to be prepared so if anyone wants to have a duel of walkers at 10 paces, I'm ready. B-D Man, I'm ready for some ELO. B-)
