Anarchists call for end to the United States in Inauguration "Call to Action"
Anarchis Resistance Website | January 7, 2005

Posted on 01/08/2005 1:22:43 PM PST by nwrep

In outlining their tactics and strategy for anarchist protests during the inauguration of President George W. Bush on January 20, the Anarchist Resistance website has called for an end to the United States.

Below is their "Call to Action" posted on their website http://www.anarchistresistance.org/anarchistcall.shtml

***************************************************************************************

All out for an anarchist mobilization against centralized power...at the 2005 Presidential Inauguration: Washington, DC - January 15-20th. As George W. Bush is coronated on January 20th, the question is not if there will be protests, but what shape these protests will take. Thousands are organizing to oppose Bush's Inauguration. As the liberal and authoritarian groups negotiate permits with the powers that be, it's time to put forward an alternate vision of protest; one of resistance to, not cooperation with the authorities.

This January, let the world see not a display of American Patriotism from the right and American "free speech" from the left but a massive resistance to the latest representation of 200+ years of murder, slavery, greed and genocide that has been the American way from George Washington to George W. Bush. There's nothing left to salvage in this empire that is the U.S. government. It's time to bring it down.

For those of us who envision a world without rulers, a world without borders and a world with freedom for all, not just those within a particular nation, class, race, gender or religion - the time to act is now - with all out resistance to capitalism and centralized power. From empires, occupation, and colonialism by governments, to a culture based on patriarchy, domestic violence, child abuse, and so many forms of oppression - the system is broken. It cannot be fixed, or reformed as many will try and tell us. It is from the ashes of the system, that the new world that we envision can arise.

The U.S. Presidential Inauguration is one of the grandest ceremonies of the ruling class in the land. As anarchists, it's a prime opportunity to shatter these illusions of grandeur by crashing this decadent display of arrogance and wealth. This, Jan. 20th, let's bring anarchy to the streets of DC - make resistance visible, and ring in the next four years with a smash!

In Tennessee our state constitution guarantees the people have "an unalienable and indefeasible right to alter, reform, or abolish the government in such manner as they may think proper."

Notice the part in bold.

Those people are not "anarchists". They are socialist revolutionaries. Period.

Anarchy as a political theory is a form of self-government with no centralized governing structure. Not a complete absense of Laws and the attendant lack of personal responsibility for your actions.

Just as todays liberals have little to do with "liberty", so the same for todays socialistic "anarchists".

If that little rant doesn't draw the attention of Homeland Security, the Secret Service, the FBI, the CIA and the US Marshals to that site-what will it take to get their attention?

This rant reads like a decoy, to get everyone concentrating on the Inaugural, and then attacking elsewhere. All bases had better be covered.

Did these anarchist-guys protest the Clintons' two inaugurals?

I certainly hope these anarchist-guys will not burn their bras in front of children.

But as the leftists whine, don't call them "antiAmerican" or "question their patriotism".

The media in our nation is partnered with Satan for not exposing these seditious traitors in our midst.

The *Media* will cover their anti-American protests, give them "quote" and film coverage time, and then send the protest messages to international press and media outlets.

Did you know there are "professional" protestors hired to bulk-up these seditionist protests? Often, a few days before the "event", they go to "workshops" where they get orientated to the "collective mantras", their signs and flyers, and then they are provided private bus transportation to the site.

Yes... those are exactly the type of socialist anarchists I referred to. Real anarchists are anarcho-capitalists. Engendering individual soveriegnty and 100% responsibility for everything you do, or fail to do.

Not this "workers paradise" bullcrap. Not these "smash the State" weirdo's. Liberal socialist utopians who would end up trading one master for another. Ask the Russians how well their "workers revolution" went over...

How can that work?

If they don't answer to God, nor to government authority who will they answer to?

Don't tell me themselves, because I've met some of these people.

OK. They can come to the inaguration provided they use no form of roadway or any other transportation system that was in any form developed with assistance of the government.

Which God? Your God? My Gods? The Muslim God? Religion is a horrible basis for governance.

Even an idiot can be taught the sense behind the Golden Rule. Enforce that with no social safety nets and armed individuals, the normal draw to easy money from being a criminal disappears. Humans are not "inherently good" beings. That falicy needs to go away. Putting a human being in charge of other human beings, in religion or government, is a BAD idea. There isn't a single example of a religion or a government that at some point in their history had an human abuse their position of power. It just goes with the territory.

The people you have met would no longer be able to get away with their crap. Try tossing a trashcan through my businesses window and I'll shoot you. Repeatedly. Can't do that now, because the GOVERNMENT has made it illegal to kill them for their lawlessness.

Impending death is a strong dis-incentive to bad behavior. Sometimes, the only real effective one.

Your point makes me think of Asia right now. There is very little central government control, and it's turning towards lawlessness.

Golden rule aside (for those of us who adhere to it), what would/could make people do the right thing?

This debate is interesting to me,

In central Asia, you have either the armed, or the helpless. You also have a complete lack of anything resembling a free market.

Apples and oranges.

If we had no 'authority', what would be the difference between them and us?

For many God is the authority, and for others it is the law, and the police.

I understood you to mean that people would behave properly, and with ethics, if left on their own.

People willl only behave "properly", if there is no other choice. If the results of behaving "improperly" bear to high a price for most to pay.

Right now we have boh religions and governments either protecting people from heir mistakes or giving them an excuse for their abuses of their fellow humans. Without POWER inherent in governments, all you have are individuals dealing with each other.

Social mores and standards regain importance. How are you going to buy groceries if no one in town will sell them to you because you are an a$$hole? Or a known pervert? Or a Satanist in a town of Christians? Or known for renegging on contracts or debit?

Anarcho-capitalism begins by assuming everyone is their own Master and no one other person has soverign Rights over another or their property. Dealing with each other as equals just follows from that. As does keep a close on on each other with a certain amount of distrust. This works a lot better than just excusing peoples behavior, setting up power structures rife with abuse to try and get segements of the population to "behave", and makes the consequences of your actions that muh more immediate and important to every individual.
