I remember when the war was starting and the Dems all lined up behind the "WMD" reason as if it were the only one.
I thought to myself, "Man.. they are putting themselves on the spot by insisting there are no WMD after all the evidence that has been shown to support that it does exist". I also wondered why they ignored the other IMO most important reason... Saddam was thumbing his nose at the world and refusing to comply with the conditions for cease-fire from 1991.
Now I know why.. I am convinced these people were aware that Saddam would move his materials out of the country as we aligned our forces. Perhaps this explains why Turkey pulled back on us... to leave the Northern door open to haul the WMD out to Syria, Turkey or Iran??
Boxer was embarrassing yesterday. I was hoping Condi would just come and say "Barbara, you ignorant slut!"..but of course, Condi has more class than that.

Yeah, that was the first thing that struck me too and when I couldn't listen to anymore of it. These people just continually LIE! That's all they do. Fortunately more and more Americans are privy to their adolescent and selfish attempts to retain power and ergo respect.
The one thing that dims just don't get is that respect is earned! Usually in civilized society anyway. They just keep digging their grave deeper and deeper and it's already way deeper than the requisite 6 feet.
And what does it say about Barbara Boxer that she'd vote to confirm someone she just accused of being a liar...?
Babs is a liar or stupid or both. Maybe just too lazy to check the information before she opens her mouth. How could anyone so sloppy in their intellect and personal style of communication become a public official. Of course, that's a stupid question on my part. If fastidiousness of character representation and intellect were qualifiers, the Democratic party would not exist.
