According to an investigative report on ABC-this story might actually have been put together by Brian Ross, though I'm not positive-Al Qaeda used Tanzanite, among other highly valuable ored commodities, to fund their operations.

Another gift that we can thank our president for is ousting that loathsome simulacrum of a human, Charles Taylor, from office.

Supposedly, he was allowing Islamic terrorists-perhaps even Al Qaeda-to find refuge in the war-torn nation of Liberia.

It gets even better. DU or one of the libblogs blamed Buckhead for outing Mary Mapes as the producer for the 60 Mintues TANG segment. It isn't like the segment lists her as the producer at the beginning or anything like that...
