No, not at all. I mean that if a life has been reduced to the point where no communication is possible, and the human cannot feed itself even when presented with wholesome food, then it isn't worth spending buckets of money to keep it alive.
How do you know what she is "feeling"? For all you know she could be screaming inside "please let go, I don't want this".

I have had personal experience, Bud, taking care of lots of patients like Terri. I would even be fighting for you, if you were in her place. The will to survive is not as fragile and fleeting as you would believe, and it might be you there, fighting in your mind to survive, with no one to advocate in your behalf.

Death isn't so big a deal. Nothing to be "attacked or fought against. Your effort to keep her imprisoned in a body she cannot use, and "live for her" by the administration of life that she herself is incapable of accessing is pretty "sick". It is evidence of propitiation (look it up), and more of the "victimhood" of which Americans today seem so proud.
She isn't your business. Get your nose out of it would be my advice.
While you're busy "caring" be sure to look after yourself. How is your own family, health, wieght, finances. Stop being so concerned with "fixing" others, and fix youself.
