WASHINGTON, March 23 /Christian Wire Service/ -- The 11th Hour Coalition to Save Terri Schiavo's Life will hold simultaneous press conferences -- Wednesday, March 23 -- at 12 noon in Washington, D.C., and Tallahassee, Fla.
This ad hoc partnership of religious and political organizations -- which will gather in front of the White House and the Florida governor's mansion -- will call on President George W. Bush and Gov. Jeb Bush to use their executive powers to protect Terri Schiavo from starvation.
"There are two people in the United States who can save Terri Schiavo's life right now. The president of the United States and the governor of Florida have the authority to use the police services at their disposal to take Terri into protective custody, restore her food and hydration, and arrest anyone who would interfere," said Dr. Paul Schenck, executive director of the National Pro-Life Action Center on Capitol Hill. "For the sake of Terri's life, we cannot afford to wait while the courts dither over jurisdiction."

Governer Bush would be taking no risk. If he dirrected the state to launch a criminal investigation of the husband and possibly the judge, she could be protected as a witness. If he's just going to follow the judicary, then he's not a leader.
How did it get overturned the last time Terri's tube was yanked courtesy of the HINO only trying to carry out Terr's wishes? She went 7 days last time! That is amazing she could bounce back. Talk about her strong will to live!!!!

We are all going to die. And in every case it will be tragic and a loss, but to circumvent hundreds of years of the rule of law for one case is not proper.

state capital. We've narrowed our list of "target"
Senators who are "swing" legislators, meaning there is
a fair chance they could change their minds and vote FOR
the legislation to save Terri's life.
Thanks to YOUR phone calls -- literally THOUSANDS of
calls, that we got to hear ALL DAY as they were ringing
OFF THE HOOK in those offices -- we believe we have at
least one, and probably two, Senators who have switched
over to our side.
Now, we just need ONE MORE state Senator to change his
or her mind and vote with us to save Terri Schiavo's life.
This is NOT a "done deal" here -- Wednesday is the LAST
DAY of the Florida legislature's session, so THIS IS IT.

Sorry, the precedent has been set long ago. It is just that the Republicans do not want to use it. The Democrats have not hesitated, and will not hesitate.
Terri has been supoened to appear before a Congressional committee- that alone gives justification to preserve her life.
We need the Florida legislature to step in and change the law to prevent this barbaric murder at the hands of an estranged husband.

Well, speaking of the state...
Some questions for Florida state legislators:
Would he/she bet his/her life on Michael Schiavo's honesty?
Why do criminals in FL get more due process than a law-abiding citizen of the state?
Do people in a PVS have the same Constitutional rights as the rest of us?
If she dies, and we later learn that her husband lied, can the Florida State Legislature bring someone back from the dead?
I'm not talking about the risk to Jeb Bush, I'm talking about the risk to our freedom from government! What if Jeb Bush decides you are a bad parent and forcibly takes your children from you?
This is the only way to save her now.
Getting the FL legislature to change the law.
President Bush has to save Terri! It's her only hope!
After he does save her it will be just like Iraq, the turning point that spreads democracy!
