Press Conferences in Washington and Tallahassee on March 23 at noon.

To: National Desk

Contact: Joe Giganti, 703-928-9695, Joe@VeritasMediaGroup.com

WASHINGTON, March 23 /Christian Wire Service/ -- The 11th Hour Coalition to Save Terri Schiavo's Life will hold simultaneous press conferences -- Wednesday, March 23 -- at 12 noon in Washington, D.C., and Tallahassee, Fla.

This ad hoc partnership of religious and political organizations -- which will gather in front of the White House and the Florida governor's mansion -- will call on President George W. Bush and Gov. Jeb Bush to use their executive powers to protect Terri Schiavo from starvation.

"There are two people in the United States who can save Terri Schiavo's life right now. The president of the United States and the governor of Florida have the authority to use the police services at their disposal to take Terri into protective custody, restore her food and hydration, and arrest anyone who would interfere," said Dr. Paul Schenck, executive director of the National Pro-Life Action Center on Capitol Hill. "For the sake of Terri's life, we cannot afford to wait while the courts dither over jurisdiction."

Dr. Paul Schenck, National Pro-Life Action Center on Capitol Hill

Coalition Members appearing at the press conference:

-- Fr. Frank Pavone, Priests for Life

-- Stephen G. Peroutka, Esq., Face the Truth TV & Radio

-- Fr. Thomas Euteneuer, Human Life International

-- Michael A. Peroutka, Esq., Institute on the Constitution -- Rev. Greg Cox, Faith and Action

-- Rev. Stephen Cox, Gospel of Life Ministries

-- Rev. John Vandenberge, National Clergy Council

"OMG. On what basis would either of them do this? What authority do they have? Does anybody understand the danger here?"

Governer Bush would be taking no risk. If he dirrected the state to launch a criminal investigation of the husband and possibly the judge, she could be protected as a witness. If he's just going to follow the judicary, then he's not a leader.

How did it get overturned the last time Terri's tube was yanked courtesy of the HINO only trying to carry out Terr's wishes? She went 7 days last time! That is amazing she could bounce back. Talk about her strong will to live!!!!

We are all going to die. And in every case it will be tragic and a loss, but to circumvent hundreds of years of the rule of law for one case is not proper.

Clinton could get away with it because the MSM represents this mentality. They would crucify Bush. And I wish he'd do it.

What authority do they have? Does anybody understand the danger here?

Danger? There's no danger!! Wait a minute, the last time armed troops went roaming around the countryside Republicans were in control then too....

SEC. 15. From and after the passage of this act it shall not be lawful to employ any part of the Army of the United States, as a posse comitatus, or otherwise, for the purpose of executing the laws, except in such cases and under such circumstances as such employment of said force may be expressly authorized by the Constitution or by act of Congress; and no money appropriated by this act shall be used to pay any of the expenses incurred in the employment of any troops in violation of this section And any person willfully violating the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction thereof shall be punished by fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars or imprisonment not exceeding two years or by both such fine and imprisonment.
But heck, who cares about the rule of law? I've seen some calling for the Armed Forces, armed revolt, and basically everything else imaginable on this case.

This may be posted on another thread, but because of the urgency involved...

Make your calls now!

This ConservativePetitions.com Alert is a special message from
RightMarch.com

ALERT: We spent ALL DAY again Tuesday lobbying TEN
"swing" Florida legislators, trying to get those state
Senators to change their minds and vote FOR the new
legislation that could save Terri Schiavo from starvation
once and for all. Click here to see pictures of some of
the things we've been doing in Tallahassee:

http://www.rightmarch.com/fl1.htm

We believe we've made GREAT progress today here in the
state capital. We've narrowed our list of "target"
Senators who are "swing" legislators, meaning there is
a fair chance they could change their minds and vote FOR
the legislation to save Terri's life.

Thanks to YOUR phone calls -- literally THOUSANDS of
calls, that we got to hear ALL DAY as they were ringing
OFF THE HOOK in those offices -- we believe we have at
least one, and probably two, Senators who have switched
over to our side.

Now, we just need ONE MORE state Senator to change his
or her mind and vote with us to save Terri Schiavo's life.
This is NOT a "done deal" here -- Wednesday is the LAST
DAY of the Florida legislature's session, so THIS IS IT.

So once more, we need YOUR help.

We need EVERYONE READING THIS EMAIL to call the following
Florida state Senators RIGHT AWAY, and ask them to do one
simple thing:

"I BEG YOU TO SAVE TERRI SCHIAVO'S LIFE --
PLEASE VOTE TO SAVE TERRI TODAY."

That's all we're asking you to do. Just call seven state
Senators -- or as many as you can -- and beg them to vote
to save Terri's life.

TAKE ACTION: Call these seven Senators NOW:

Anthony Hill, Sr.
850-487-5024

Gary Siplin
850-487-5190

Alex Villalobos
850-487-5130

Larcenia J. Bullard
850-487-5127

Walter Campbell, Jr.
850-487-5094

Nancy Argenziano
850-487-5017

Burt L. Saunders
850-487-5124

In addition, PLEASE call Governor Jeb Bush's office NOW at
850-488-4441, asking him to exercise the executive powers
he ALREADY HAS, and take custody of Terri Schiavo to save
her from being starved to death. We've got renowned lawyer
Larry Klayman coming in on Wednesday to meet one-on-one
with Gov. Bush's General Counsel lawyers, showing them
point-by-point exactly why the Governor DOES have those
powers right NOW. Call Gov. Bush and ask him to USE those
powers to save Terri's life.

NOTE: We are asking you to give a donation to help with
the effort to save Terri's life. Battles cost money;
resources cost money; media costs money; I could go on,
but you get the picture. I am asking you to show your
support by making as generous a contribution as you can
to this effort. (Gifts are not tax deductible.)

Sorry, the precedent has been set long ago. It is just that the Republicans do not want to use it. The Democrats have not hesitated, and will not hesitate.

Terri has been supoened to appear before a Congressional committee- that alone gives justification to preserve her life.

We need the Florida legislature to step in and change the law to prevent this barbaric murder at the hands of an estranged husband.

GILBERT O'SULLIVAN lyrics - "Alone Again (Naturally)"

(Raymond O'Sullivan)

In a little while from now
If I'm not feeling any less sour
I promise myself to treat myself
And visit a nearby tower
And climbing to the top
Will throw myself off
In an effort to
Make it clear to whoever
Wants to know what it's like
When you're shattered
Left standing in the lurch at a church
Were people saying, My God, that's tough
She stood him up
No point in us remaining
We may as well go home
As I did on my own
Alone again, naturally

To think that only yesterday
I was cheerful, bright and gay
Looking forward to who wouldn't do
The role I was about to play
But as if to knock me down
Reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch
Cut me into little pieces
Leaving me to doubt
Talk about, God in His mercy
Oh, if he really does exist
Why did he desert me
In my hour of need
I truly am indeed
Alone again, naturally

It seems to me that there are more hearts
Broken in the world that can't be mended
Left unattended
What do we do
What do we do

[Instrumental Interlude]

Alone again, naturally

Looking back over the years
And whatever else that appears
I remember I cried when my father died
Never wishing to hide the tears
And at sixty-five years old
My mother, God rest her soul
Couldn't understand why the only man
She had ever loved had been taken
Leaving her to start
With a heart so badly broken
Despite encouragement from me
No words were ever [Spoken]
And when she passed away
I cried and cried all day
Alone again, naturally
Alone again, naturally

Well, speaking of the state...

Some questions for Florida state legislators:

Would he/she bet his/her life on Michael Schiavo's honesty?

Why do criminals in FL get more due process than a law-abiding citizen of the state?

Do people in a PVS have the same Constitutional rights as the rest of us?

If she dies, and we later learn that her husband lied, can the Florida State Legislature bring someone back from the dead?

I'm not talking about the risk to Jeb Bush, I'm talking about the risk to our freedom from government! What if Jeb Bush decides you are a bad parent and forcibly takes your children from you?

President Bush has to save Terri! It's her only hope!
After he does save her it will be just like Iraq, the turning point that spreads democracy!

"Talk about her strong will to live!!!!"

May God protect her --- since no one else seems to be able to do it . . .

30,000 people with bottles of water in front of her hospice might convince people . . .
