I go slumming just to see if the DUmmies have a compassionate bone in their bodies. Not many. I notice that if one person expresses an iota of human compassion they are pounced upon.

I'm glad you posted this. DU is not as fringe as some people might think. DU was linked from Kerry's offical website up until last summer, and Elizabeth Edwards and Chris Heinz have posted there. I think Wes Clark may have posted there too.
I think it's important to see what these freaks are up to, for the mere reason that they ARE mainstream. Scary.

It is reaffirming to see that occasionally one speaks compassionately or thinks independently. I remember one guy named 'John' who spoke out in defense of celebrating Easter with family. He was steadfast, but the vultures were out feasting upon him. That was a real eye-opener, the visceral hatred they expressed toward him as they turned on him, one of their own who dared 'cling to that archaic, patriarchal ritual' for those of lesser intelligence.
