One of the greatest books ever written.

The "prophesies" you mention were historical events that had already occurred by the time of their writing in around 500 bc.

"In Genesis 15:5, the Bible said that Abraham would have many descendants and that counting them would be like counting the stars. Today, scientists say it is impossible to count the stars because the universe is too vast. Today, we also know that counting Abraham's descendants is also impossible. There are about 20 million Jews in the world today."20 mil / 6.5 bil = 0.31% of the world, or less than one-third of 1%.
... and I rounded up.

Ah, a JEDP theorist. The JEDP is wishful thinking, and Welhausen's argument that writing hadn't been invented when Moses was alive has been blown out of the water. Most of the reasoning behind placing the writing at 500, instead of the previously accepted dates is because the people claiming the dates didn't believe in prophecy. Therefore, they HAD to give the Pentateuch a date after the prophecies had been fulfilled.

Regarding: "
2. The Israelites would be like dust, spreading out to the east, west, north and south. (Gen. 28:14). Throughout history, the Jews have been scattered worldwide. They are the first and only group of people to be scattered worldwide.Subsequently there are other people who have been scattered worldwide. One such are the Romany, and another are the Sa'ami. The Romany through their own interest in traveling on to new places, or to flee persecution, and the Sa'ami through their dominance of the whaling industry in the 1700 and 1800s.
Then we have the case of all of the people in the Celtic fringe. Their home countries (Wales, Scotland, Brittany, Galicia, Ireland, Manx) today have but 10% of the ethnic populations whose origins pertain to those lands. The other 90% are somewhere else, usually in a lot of "somewhere elses".

Not sure where you got the 500 BCE date for when the prophesies were written down ~ there used to be a theory that almost all of the Bible had been kept orally until it was written down in a more recent time.
Then they discovered Sumerian records 5,000 years old. It was obvious the Bible's oldest stories were so similar to these most ancient written records that they had the same source, or were simply alternate versions of the same stories, most likely written down at the earliest possible times by Sumerians ~ they, after all, invented writing.
The ancient Hebrews had very good contact with Babylon to the East, Assyria to the North and Egypt to the South, and writing had already been in full bloom in those areas for many centuries before 500 BCE. It's beyond the realm of conjecture to believe that all of the surrounding and neighboring civilizations had written records with the Jews still sitting around working out a primitive oral tradition.

It is a Blessing to watch Bible Prophesy unfold before our very eyes. It is an exciting time to be alive and to be able to witness all that has happened since 1948 when Israel was made a nation again. That's Gods time clock, and it's really been ticking since that time.
Yassar Arafat had to be taken out of the way before there could be another peace accord in the Middle East. IF this is 'THE' peace accord that will be broken in 3 1/2 years, we are indeed living in the 'End Times'. "Look up, your redemption draws nigh!"

"The Da Vinci Code" - the hoax behind the code
1. Fiction: Mary Magdalene was married to Jesus.
This claim is the backbone of Brown's novel. The The Da Vinci Code claims that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married, that they had children, and that their descendants included a line of kings in France, as well as some of the main characters in Brown's novel.
Despite Brown's claims, however, there are no historical documents that claim that Jesus was married - not even the "Gnostic gospels" that Brown mentions in his novel.
2. Fiction: The Gnostic gospels and the Dead Sea Scrolls are "the earliest Christian records."
The The Da Vinci Code claims that the New Testament is a forgery and that the Gnostic gospels and the Dead Sea Scrolls are the original Christian texts.
This claim, however, is flatly contradicted by an overwhelming amount of scholarship by Christians and non-Christians. Many scholars believe that the New Testament was written during the first century and that the Gnostic texts were written no sooner than the second century. And, the Dead Sea Scrolls don't contain any gospels of any kind. In fact, the Dead Sea Scrolls do not contain any Christian writings of any kind.

How can conversion not be required for salvation? Is that an infallible statement? Is it based on scripture?

The Bible is one of the greatest books ever written.
Books about such "prophesies" are bogus.
As Christian, what may or may not happen is irrelevant. We must follow God with all that we are regardless.
We have nothing to fear as long as we do that. Honest.
However, if you do happen to see the Four Horsemen in midair going around the world, then our time is almost up.
