Cuban Cigars

Who else wants Cuban's? Okay, I understand the embargo, but isn't it past time? Give me good reasons why we are still doing this!!!! It would only increase/decrease (I'm not sure) the quality of cigars available. Flame me...I'm not really this shallow...but wanted the conversation sparked :-)

I've had Cubans. They're no better than a Dominican Padron Anniversario, the sweetest cigar known to man.

You are silly!

If cuban cigars were leagal, it wouldn't be nearly as fun figuring out how to get them! And they wouldn't tatse 1/2 as good! And they wouldn't have nearly the power to impress people in your life as you quietly show off your 'savvy' in getting a relatively harmless contraband - and sexy women dig a slightly shady guy!

Make cuban cigars legal and they simply become a whole lot less fun!

Wrong, wrong my good man/woman...I thought the same, until cruise and venturing into that world. I found Fonseca to be the best ever cigar smoke on earth...and I'm sure it wasn't because I found a cheapy...

Well, the definition of a good cigar is a cigar you like, so, salud to the Fonseca!

Smoke 'em if you got 'em.

But, seriously, Cuban cigars are over-rated, IMO.

IMHO too...until I had, away from the states. I had several in the states that sucked. I'd like to know why there is a difference. What do the islands have to do with the different taste? I still remember it as heavenly.

HAha yes I did get it!

The only risk is that the Federales intercept the cigars - you lose the cigars, they probably won't send you to prison!

The company is legit and highly regarded. They send the cigars separately from the bands - HAHA! Who'se to say where it comes from when some nosy Federale takes a peek! And it isn't illegal to get a bunch of cigar bands in the mail, after all.

The best absolute cigar I have ever had...a Padron Millenium..it smoked smooth for over 2 hours...many changes and surprises thru the smoke. It was worth the $25

I just lit up one of my 'house cigars' to memorialize this thread! I only smoke a stogie once every three weeks or so! ;-)
