The Terri Schiavo Case: Flat Lining Liberal Arguments By N. Beaujon May 9, 2005 Terri Schiavo did not die when the Florida Courts and Judge Greer killed her by starvation-dehydration. Her issues are still alive- as much as liberals would like to see them aborted. When arguing the Terri Schiavo murder the typical liberal response is a petulant: All of the courts found for the husband or All of the courts that reviewed the case agreed. Suddenly liberals have never heard of the Innocence Project, their cause d'celbre Mumia Abu-Jamal or the ACLU. This may be the first case when a death sentence meted out by the State meets with their stamp of approval. If you click onto any anti-death penalty site they list hundreds of cases of wrongful conviction . Those are buzz words for the courts got it wrong. Liberals will speechify for hours on how the appellate courts will only look at the law not at the facts so, if a lower court judge made a faulty determination in a death penalty case it will go undiscovered. The first thing a liberal will say in defense of abortion is 'it's legal'. But trying pointing out that tobacco, guns, hunting and the death penalty are also legal, and it instantly becomes irrelevant.
Yes I've noticed (the "it's legal" maneuver and the
disconnect with other issues) Apropos of the "privacy"
issue in the Schiavo judicial murder and the "right"
of the spouse, they also ignore a 2000 "right to die" case
also decided by Greer. This was reported at WorldNetDaily
but I don't have a link right now. The children of Blair
Clark, a USF law professor, won out over his wife, after
he became incapacitated. Greer ruled for the children,
and Clark died a week after ventilation (and IV, nutrition)
was stopped. It's heartrending to read his wife's comments.
So much for the "next of kin" and all that.
Unfortunately I can't remember the serial killer's name who was executed just this past week. He killed approx 8 women. The serial killer himself wanted to DIE by execution.
However, the ACLU fought the execution. Strange that they supported Terri's hedious cruel execution, but were so upset that the serial killer died.
According to the ACLU-->
Terri an innocent disabled woman, should be FORCED TO DIE, because her so called husband wanted her to die.
Serial Killer should NOT be allowed to DIE, even though he himself request death, because the ACLU is against killing.
Obviously Liberal's such as NOW and the ACLU, are nothing but a bunch of fakes. They care nothing about women's rights or stopping executions of innocents. A definate innocent was executed and the ACLU did nothing to prevent it. But instead, actively helped the executioner. I agree with the author of the article.
