CNN Reporter calls Rove story "Bullsh*t"

CNN's "That's Bullshit" Coverage

Lou Dobbs Tonight, (7/15/05) as Lou was introducing a piece on the Rove story.

Lou says, "...Rove testifying that he first learned about Plame from columnist Robert Novak, a CNN contributor. Danna Bash reports." Immediately after that you can clearly hear a female voice on mic whispering "that's bullshit". Then Dana Bash continues with her report.

Not sure who said it. From watching the video, the taped "package" doesn't play right away, so there may have been some confusion in the control room as to whether they were going to Dana Bash live at the White House or to the tape first. Dana's mic could have been accidentally put on the air for her "that's bull****" comment.

That's because a CNN stringer probably stole or copied the memo while aboard AF1 when it was first circulated - and then leaked it to themselves.

I am ever more convinced the Liberals were all getting drunk this weekend telling their drunken woes of how they each had their own personal runin with the "Architect" and emerged scarred.

What the dems don`t see is that when one of there own,the MSM,take a swing at the administration it doesn`t make it true.
How many time now have these loony leftists jumped at a non story in their pathological desire of smearing President Bush.Funnier still is their complete obsession with Karl Rove.
If tested I think most dems would be committed for some degree of mental imbalance.

At the 'Rat convention last year, CNN had a microphone in the booth of whoever was in charge of making sure the balloons came down at the right time. There was a problem with the balloons and CNN was broadcasting them saying, "I want more balloons, God Dammit! What the f*ck are you guys doing up there?!"

So, what she's trying to say is, "Although my mind is made up and I have made a definite decision on a partisan issue, I promise to.... aw hell. Forget it. I'm only going to present facts that support my side."

I was doing work for about a month in major networks west cost transmission control room during the Florida 2000 recount mess...the vast bulk of the engineers in that control room were to the right of the avg FReeper... you would be amassed at what they think of there own on air talent...I could see one letting a reporters mic be open for a comment

Every now and again, the lib-Dems in elective office, in the press, or elsewhere, commit the worst act in politics and communications. The "commit truth." They blurt out what they really think and believe, rather than the polished dishonesty that passes for discourse these days.

This is an example of that. So was Chuck Schumer telling a friend by phone from the Amtrak that "this is war." We should cherish such moments of truth, because they will be clear indicators of what we are up against, and they will be scarce as hen's teeth, as folks say hereabouts.

I can second that, also Control rooms have intercoms that sound like phone quality, they don't have mics that can accidentally be put on the air.

Perhaps. But ask yourself this: Is the idea that it could actually be said by someone in the control room about the story a credible idea? Of course it is. This is typical liberalism.

I don't see the big deal here. How do we even know she was commenting on the piece? Considering the activity in the control room, she could have been commenting on something else. And even if she did comment on the story, so what?

At least this is further proof that this ridiculous "blown cover" story has reached the point where it's so completely stupid that we're picking through the debris looking for anything to hold our interest. And I guess we won't be hearing anymore about Cheney's Clymer moment.

Could minor Ambassador Joe Wilson himself have been the source in blowing his own Wife's cover?

It is distinctly possible, (though it may be unlikely that Joe Wilson himself directly was NY Times Judith Miller's source), since Joe Wilson himself evidently routinely bragged openly to strangers about her CIA employment, prior to such "cover" being "blown" in the press.

Here's an example of Joe's apparently routine and open bragging about Valerie being a "CIA agent," which became known directly to me over a year ago:

He certainly bragged about it per a famous and highly reliable source's (named below) account of his own face-to-face encounter with Amb. Joe Wilson prior to Valerie Plame's "outing" as a CIA agent/employee.

Based upon a personal conversation (we were in a small group eating; it was NOT an "off the record") I had with eminent historian Victor Davis Hanson (we were at a luncheon table together during a trip to Europe), it appeared entirely possible that Joe Wilson himself was the (or one source, if not the original one) possible source in revealing his own wife's status as a CIA agent or employee.

Victor Davis Hanson (Wilson presumably knew Victor Davis Hanson wrote regularly for NRO (National Review Online), had done OpEds for the Wall street Journal, and other publications, and had his own Website with a widespread following) said he (VDH) & Joe Wilson were both in the same "Green Room" before a televised debate-discussion on Iraq, etc. and Joe first warned the TV make-up person not to get powder on his $14,000 Rolex watch, then he bragged to Victor about several things (possessions and trips to Aspen, etc.), like his expensive car (I think it was a Mercedes), and then bragged about his beautiful wife who, Joe Wilson said (braggingly) was a CIA operative.

I asked Victor Davis Hanson Why he didn't write up this account.(?) He replied that Joe Wilson would probably simply deny it, since only he (VDH) & Joe Wilson were in the Green Room together before the broadcast.

However, it is now easy to surmise that Joe Wilson is a crass, materialistic, self-promoting, vain, egotistical, bragaddocio-opportunist, so this account is perfectly consistent with Valerie Plame's TWO photo shoots in Vanity Fair. (Or was it Vogue? No, probably too crass for Vogue, n'est pas?)
