Hugh, my friend, feel thou not slammed. Just a bit of constructive criticism, Froggystyle.
Hosting Hassam Aloush (?) the SoCal head of C A I R for the first two hours of his program today, Hugh unwittingly turned the keys of his radio show over to an organization that has a long track record of apologizing for islamic terror. Im not sure if Hugh was simply unprepared for the interview, or in his zealousness to deconstruct the Tancredo Option that he decided to swing the conversation in the opposite direction.

Hugh has the guy on again today and this time, as promised, Frank Gaffney is on too.
Hugh is indeed a conservative. And I don't have a problem with him having the CAIR guy on. How better to expose and reveal. One of the great things about America? Freedom. And this includes the freedom of anti-Americans to fully expose themselves for as many as will hear, see, or listen.
From the Froggy snip:
Im not sure if Hugh was simply unprepared for the interview, or in his zealousness to deconstruct the Tancredo Option that he decided to swing the conversation in the opposite direction.
I don't think these choices are necessarily linked. Tancredo's words were rash, but also understandable. Having the CAIR guy on only exposes the CAIR guy. How these two items are connected or not, is ultimately, IMHO, irrelevant. And regardless of what may or may not be going on behind the scenes. Besides, having both issues on his show accomplishes exactly what radio show hosts seek and need to stay ON THE AIR: ratings.
He might be doing that. But I doubt it. I have yet to see anything reasonable coming out of CAIR.
What is your evidence for that conclusion?
Are you listening right now? That CAIR guy is really on the defensive.
I used to listen to Hugh while in CA. Can I get him via internet, do you know?
Try http://920wgka.com/ -- the "Listen Live" link is in the upper left hand corner.
Yes. You can get him on the net. The segment has concluded. However, the transcript will be posted at Hugh's site tonight.
Wow, Gaffney ate that guy's lunch.
All he had was "racist!"
Thank you, Angel -- Listening! :)
Thank you, Sweets.
Yup!
He should have just opened his lines for questions and have fun with it.
Wow. Hugh just pretty much admitted that the guy was out there.
hehehe Hugh always surprises me.
Thanks for the ping Eveningstar. I didn't get to hear the program in question, but my husband did. Also, do you know when Mark Steyn's segment is on now?
One more Hewitt ping.
On foreign issues he is so far out of his depth that he comes out looking like a clown.
He is reduced to asinine exclamations (It's crazy!), which I enjoy throwing back at him (he has absolutely no proof of that!) as he babbles on without a clue.
He pretty much can say anything he wants and there isn't even a sharp Jr High schooler to dispute it. Verbal diahrea and BS. He is so falling all over himself to appear uberPC that I understand he is coming to work in a Kaffiyeh now.
I've been listening to this clown for two years?
Now I'm embarrassed.
Object lesson: pay attention now.
Stick with what you know!
I don't drink kool-aid for anybody, sorry.
Since his ignorant and stupid, and pathetic and relentless attack on Tancredo and ignorant uninformed defense of islamofacism I would just as soon he didn't do us any favors.
He literally knows nothing of history and less about Islam. It shows. He keeps trying to fake it and it shows worse...
He's pathetic!
