It's only been a little under two years that liberal radio has gained popularity.

Uh, I must have missed something. Just when did this happen?

Yeah, the best part is the total control we have over Hollywood and the major media.

And don't forget the public education system.

"Winter is coming…

Time to be like the snow fox and blend in when necessary. Your duty is to survive."

I shall become the snow fox.

Can you see me here...

No here..

Ah ha, thought not. If I become the snow fox, am I required to read navel-gazing prose posted by third rate poets? The Snow Fox Wants To Know...

Don't ever let one of these moonbats tell you that they support the troops, but not the war. That is a lie. In reality, they support neither.

Allow me an illustration:

My wife is a registered nurse. It took her four years to get through school. Obviously, I had to support her as much as I could in her long and challenging course of study.

Now, imagine if I said, I support my wife, but I don't support her being a nurse," and I spent all my time cheering on people who criticized her for her studies, and did wheatever I could to make her studies more difficult. Imagine if I (in a way similar to the unanimous accalim on DU for Dick Durbin) celebrated a person who publically stated that she was studying to be a nurse so she could do mercy killings? What if (like Code Pink and so many other activists) I claimed to care for her very much but also referred to her as a killer?

How supportive would she think I was?

Wouldn't I need some sort of prosthetic supporter for my wedding tackle after she (with perfect justification) kicked me in the crotch until her leg tired out?

And the "support the troops but not the war" thing is so simplistic to boot. One leftist asked me "Does that mean supporting everything they do?" They either are very dumb or claim to be, believeing that supporting Iraqi liberation means you support Abu Ghraib, and if you supported the defense of South Vietnam you also supported My Lai. Poppycock.

In other words, no matter how many "scandals" we invent and blow completely out of proportion, there's absolutely no evidence to support them, and we know it. But rather than face reality, we, like any self-respecting conspiracy theorist, state that the total lack of evidence is proof in and of itself of powerful, shadowy forces participating in a cover-up.

The other day there was a link in the Freeper Canteen to a page discussing the "Staged Moon Landings" conspiracy theory. Although there are a million reasons to disbelieve the whackos who say we didn't land there, I was struck by the fact that they continue to claim we weren't sending the craft beyond Earth orbit. They say the government had to send a real crew up so there'd be a real splashdown for the Navy guys to witness, but there was no travel to the moon and the landing footage was pre-taped. They maintain this even though amateur astronomers could track the ships during their inter-orbit burns with their telescopes. One was preparing to film one of Apollo 13's burns and caught the service module explosion on tape.

But there are still people who keep peddling this crap, like the guy Buzz Aldrin punched out a few years back (Go Buzz!) so why should the DUmmies change their tune because some of the most liberal newspapers in the country found that Bush really won Florida, or because stealing Ohio would have required that hundreds of Democrat poll watchers were in on the job? If Apollo 13 really blowing up in transit to the moon doesn't really mean we went to the moon, why should GWB really winning an election mean he really won an election? Why shouldn't the completely dubious and completely useless Downing Street Memo be the most important piece of paper ever produced?

Argh... it's disgusting. There is nothing more offensive to me than saying that America right now is like Nazi Germany. As someone pointed out earlier, if it were really like that, the person complaining about the current administration would be in Dachau and people like us would be wearing really cool uniforms.

Yeah, with a Viking Kitty head where the SS Death's Head would usually go!

Actually, the Wermacht and Luftwaffe uniforms were the coolest ones.

It just occurred to me that the proof they don't "support the troops" is that in DUmmieland you never see a purely positive, pro-military, pro-veterans thread like you do here on FR all the time.

I feel as if we're all unsuspecting island inhabitants With: Mr. and Mrs. Ketchup as Thurston Howell III and Lovey Algore as the Professor Hillary! and Babs Botoxer as Mary Ann and Ginger Dennis Kucinich as Gilligan Howard Dean as the Skipper

LOL! I'd love to see the visual of that.
