You don't have to be a genius to realize that Americans need to understand what went right and what went wrong in dealing with Hurricane Katrina.
President Bush was absolutely right about it.
We need to know.
So we can keep doing what's right and not do what's wrong.
And hold those responsible accountable instead of blaming others automatically targeted by the Bush bashers and those politicians really responsible.
Like the Mayor of New Orleans, Ray Nagin, who was unprepared and then hysterical; the Governor of Louisiana, Kathleen Blanco, who was focused on her imagine instead of her people; and Louisiana’s United States Senators over many years, especially its current senior Senator, Mary Landrieu, who did not make strengthening the levees and otherwise preparing for a hurricane above category 3 their top priority.
