Yes, but she hasn't the courage of her own convictions. If she believes it, she ought to say it.
This hinting around at things has a whiff of shame to it. Otherwise she would SAY IT.
The whole 'subhuman' liquidate' and 'put them down' thing is getting old. You're right of course.
The longer this thing drags on, the more we are realising that the local and state government failed MISERABLY. This is just another attempt to push the blame on people just because it's convenient. The people talk about looters and 'subhumans'etc. the less talk about the government failing is happening.
Your struggle against logic continues. Again, the US military practiced summary execution during the Civil War - would it be fair to call General Grant a Nazi?
despite your protestations of ignorance
I'm not protesting any supposed ignorance of mine - I'm simply pointing out your own.
We're not talking about shooting someone witnessed in the act.
That's precisely what I'm talking about. I was complaining that people who were witnessed robbing and victimizing other evacuees were not immediately shot on sight, but were allowed to continue to move freely about the crowd and were eventually lost to law enforcement in the evacuation from the Dome.
Shrill? What was shrill? Was it my initial response of laughter to your silly rhetoric.
here's a clue: "shrill" is when you call someone a Nazi.
Wail on, the record is clear.
The record is not clear, and it is not clear precisely because you pressed the abuse button on me, obscuring my initial post. You then called me a Nazi, thinking you could get away with it because no one could read my original post and that you could get away with your subsequent misrepresentations of that post because you had the record erased.
Sorry if I don't lie down and passively absorb your unmerited abuse.
Wail on. The record is clear.
You were advocating Nazi barbarity. The comparison is not shrill. Your protests are shrill.
Calling you a Nazi does not involve "getting away" with anything. On this matter, the comparison is quite accurate.
And the content of that post was pulled by management after I hit abuse. If you have any complaints about that, take it up with Admin. But keep in mind, as soon as they saw it, the deleted it and warned you to tone it down.
No abuse, just a valid description of your position.
Again, if the record is erased, the record is not clear.
The meaning of "is" is still "is".
The wahhhhhmbulance will be by shortly. They can help you out.
I was advocating the precise discipline enforced by General Grant in the US Army.
I ask again - was General Grant a Nazi? Or are you just full of hot air and hyperbole?
And the content of that post was pulled by management after I hit abuse. If you have any complaints about that, take it up with Admin.
FR is a private forum and can delete posts for whatever reason management desires. Just because you call the content of post that was deleted "Nazi" doesn't make it so.
In fact, I find it interesting that you deliberately moved to get my post deleted - perhaps because you knew that if my post had remained, your scurrilous remarks would be completely unsupportable.
You purposefully obscured the evidence, not I.
Let's see. You call me a Nazi without a shred of justification. Then you call me shrill because I have the gall to call you on your slander. Then you are unable to answer a simple yes or no question because you know that an honest answer to it will destroy your argument (such as it is). Then you roll out "wahhhhhmbulance" references, even though you were the one who originally pressed the abuse button.
If your case had any merit, you'd be able to defend it on a level above namecalling and schoolyard rhetoric.
So far, you cannot.
You are not surprized at this result when there was no electricity nor working plumbing in the building are you? The idiots in charge could not even manage to get a generator for emergency power apparently.
Did you not say that several hundred people should have been liquidated? The Civil War doesn't come to my mind first and foremost when someone refers to liquidating people. I know I don't think of General Grant when I read stuff like that. Now for some reason the moderator told you to cool it. That's all I have to say.
In matters of libel and slander, truth is an absolute defense. I have nothing to defend. I know that galls you, but there's nothing I can do about it.
Which would explain why you hit the abuse button to delete my original post.
You simply didn't want the truth available for everyone's examination.
I know that galls you, but there's nothing I can do about it.
You did something about it already - you purposefully hid the truth with your abuse button.
Every major city in a blue-state would follow the 'NOLA-Template' in a similar disaster, in fact, some might do worse.
Sweetie this is why I do not have posts deleted. Anyway, I'm off to read something more meaningful.
I did him a favor. He doesn't even realize it.
I absolutely did.
The Civil War doesn't come to my mind first and foremost when someone refers to liquidating people.
I apologize for saying "liquidated" if people object to the term - perhaps I should have said "executed" or "shot" or "terminated" or "whacked"?
Regardless, my point is that when someone in the Superdome was witnessed shanking someone and taking their stuff, they should have been dropped, not allowed to mingle among the innocent and eventually sneak out scot-free during the evacuation.
These criminals counted on two things: (1) the authorities wouldn't dare to shoot them and (2) the authorities were so few that they wouldn't be able to arrest them and hold them in the surrounding chaos.
That was a recipe for the lawlessness we saw.
Sounds like someone is trying to make the All-Star lineup with the Posse.....:)
