Obama Blasts Bush

Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) addressed the 35th annual legislative conference of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, a non-profit group that lobbies the 43 black members of Congress and others to enact legislation for social, economic and educational development.

"Generation after generation of inner-city blacks have been stuck in a cycle of poverty and crime," said Obama. "For this I blame President Bush."

ALL those GENERATIONS under Demoncrat leadership ... is NOT the fault of Bush!

"Sure, the government provides homes for poor blacks, but they're only apartments," complained Obama. "These homes have cable TV, but it's only basic cable. The government gives them food stamps, but we let them waste them on junk food or trade them for liquor and cigarettes."

They need mansions with more than basic cable and what they buy with those food stamps, liquor and cigarettes, is also the fault of BUSH!

"These wretched conditions lead too many blacks to hopeless lives of crime and substance abuse," Obama continued. "Shamefully, most of the crimes are committed against other blacks. We need a program to more equitably distribute the victimization to non-minorities and upper-class neighborhoods."

Because someone is poor, this MUST lead to a life of crime and illegal drugs. Oh - oh

Whether Calypso Louie actually believes this or not, WDSU Weatherman, Heath Allen actually spewed on "Scarborough Country" (PMSNBC) last night that the Corps of Engineers did not repair the levees near the 9th Ward with as much care as they repaired the others because those who live in the 9th Ward are African-American. He said the levees in the "white" areas didn't fail, but the levee in the "black" area did. This wasn't some Wheel in the Sky Guy, but the Weatherman on a local NO television station. And to top that, Scarborough agreed with him.
