He gets to be derided by his own party/country for the rest of his life. Meanwhile, we all get a Ms. Souter for about 30 some odd years. We still get the short end of that stick.

When I heard Miers supported trying U. S. military members in international courts, that was enough for me.

I appreciate you addressing this matter in a non-shrill way. Someone finally gave me a good reason why Miers might not be the best choice.

I'll be Googling that later on tonight, to find out for myself. But thanks for the tip.
