Nuthin' wrong with the pick.

If a few farmers and storekeepers can write a constitution, why can't a "lawyer" who hasn't achieved an elitist level interpret it?

Thumper, are you the famous psychoanalyst who said, "..If you can't say something nice don't say anything at all..?"

I suppose everyone forgets that Krystal endorsed, supported McCain all the way. I also suppose they forget that Buchanan ran against both Bush I and Bush II. Losers never forget! I know according to your dictum copied above that I should not say anything, but isn't it true, President Bush is unloved in the Beltway circuits?

If a few farmers and storekeepers

That's right. They were all just a bunch of sodbusters. All farmers found universities, lead armies to defeat great empires, serve as envoys to the great nations of Europe, lead state governments, design architecture, write books, create new scientific inventions. Just your run of the mill pig farmers.

You make a keen observation. Wisdom and a good heart triumps many things. And to think these guys developed a document that has met the test of time.

Of course, now we need only the finest Rocket Scientists, astute pundits, and elite legal minds to decipher the Kings English.

Can't figure why so many are going nuclear without all the facts, and not giving the President the benefit of the doubt...much less the candidate.

I wouldn't want that type of person on the Court....one who jumps to conclusions without hearing all the evidence and reviewing the facts.

So, respectfully, I'm withholding my judgment for a while longer.
