Demonstrators opposed to the death penalty are seen at the start of a 25-mile march to San Quentin Prison a day before the scheduled execution of convicted killer and Crips gang co-founder Stanley 'Tookie' Williams in San Francisco, December 12, 2005. (Lou Dematteis/Reuters)

Tough for me to make fun of these protesters. The death penalty is a difficult issue about which reasonable people might disagree.

That woman in front looks suspiciously like the crying woman with the sign when it was announced there wouldn't be a recount in the 2004 election.

These are not necessarily Tookie supporters as much as they are anti-death penalty. There is a significant distinction that should be made.
Though I disgree, I respect the point of view of those that are against the death penalty, but anyone out there on the "Free Tookie" platform, well those are the people without a platform.

Sigh could just as easily said, "Walk for Abortion", and that woman would be fine with the death penalty for the infant.
