Semi-News: Sean Penn Weeps over Execution
AZCONSERVATIVE ^ | 16 Dec 2005 | John Semmens

Actor Sean Penn was among the thousand, or so, protesting the execution of four-time murderer Tookie Williams on Tuesday. As the crowd outside San Quentin State Prison was told after midnight that Williams was dead, Penn broke into tears.

“I’ve killed more people in my movies than Tookie killed, but that doesn’t make me a bad person,” Penn said. “Why can’t we see the good in Tookie? He’s written children’s books for Christ’s sake.”

Penn admitted he hadn’t read any of Williams’ books, but asserted they must be good because they must have been written with passion. “A person who murders someone is a person of strong passions,” said Penn. “How could such a person not be a good writer?”

Penn vowed to make a movie based on one or more of Williams’ books as a “legacy to his greatness.”

“I’ve killed more people in my movies than Tookie killed, but that doesn’t make me a bad person," says Penn.

BWAHAHAHAHahahahaaaa!!!!

You idiot. When you"kill" someone, he gets up after and changes his clothes, goes to lunch, and on to the next scene.

When Tookie killed, they are photographed, autopsied, dressed in their Sunday best, and buried forever and ever.

Don't you know the difference between real life and movies?

Uhh Sean. The people you "killed" aren't really dead. If you believe you really killed them I think you should be considered a serious threat to society.

Interesting that Penn can use the name of Christ in a cheap and vulgar manner but school children are prevented from using it as praise in their government classrooms.

Come on Freepers! Be nice to Sean. After all he was one of the first 100,000 or so to get in the sack with Madonna and that has to leave some sort of post traumatic shock syndrome.

I’ve killed more people in my movies than Tookie killed,

But did he kill more men than Cecil B. DeMille?

“Why can’t we see the good in Tookie? He’s written children’s books for Christ’s sake.”

Umm. He can no longer kill anyone. Thats some good I see in Tookie.

Tookie also had a co-author on those books.

Penn admitted he hadn’t read any of Williams’ books,

Gee, imagine that. Yet Penn is now the authority on Tookies book collection. Typical lib thinking.

... but asserted they must be good because they must have been written with passion. “A person who murders someone is a person of strong passions,” said Penn. “How could such a person not be a good writer?”

This is both disgusting, and really really stupid. Does Penn still read those 'pop-up' stories? Moron.

That is scary that he would even say something like that.

Great satire! I wouldn't be surprised if they do make a movie portraying Tookie as a hero.

Take the Lords name in vain, while asking him to see the good in Tookie.
