The Quartet welcomed the successful conclusion of the withdrawal and the opportunity it brings to renew efforts on the roadmap. Very interesting photo. But I think the prophecy of 666 is better interpreted as... the number 6 in Jewish numerology represents the number of man. The three numbers together indicates a trinity of the number of man. So what I believe it says is that it is 'a man' who makes himself out to be God.

I've learned to take very little in daily events as evidence of the Rapture, Anti-Christ, the Great Tribulation, or Armageddon being imminent. I came to the Lord through the study of prophecy.

I understand the author has put this here for discussion, but concentrating on symbols in a picture without an unction fron the Holy Spirit makes us look like fools.

I once attended a church where the pastor's initials were WWW. I think I read somewhere on one of these type sites that Prince Charles of Wales adds up to 666. There are ofcourse subtle hints in his royal crest that confirm he is the antichrist according to the website I saw.

Please, please, please give Fruchtenbaum's book, The Footsteps of the Messiah*" a look. (Available at Amazon.com) Despite the title, it is a great study about prophetic events. It has provided more insight into eschatology than any book I've read in a very long time. You'll find alot of new prophetic insight based on Scripture. He does a good job of avoiding sensationalizing current headlines. I don't know the man and haven't attended his church (if he has one) and rather accidentally came across another great work, Messianic Christology before I ordered The Footsteps of the Messiah. I'll probably order more titles from the same author this weekend.

Strangely enough, *'The footsteps of the Messiah" is an ancient Jewish expression equivalent to "the birthpangs of the Messiah".

Although the Revelation was written in Greek all of the symbolism iof the "Jewish Scriptures" is retained.
