It's probably upsetting, especially if it was your first experience witnessing a forum cleanup. However, if it did not involve you and you were otherwise happy at Protest Warriors, then just give it some time for things to cool down.

If you were unhappy with Protest Warriors, perhaps a few days time off completely from the Internet might help put things in perspective.

And you are here now. If you wish to stay on Free Republic, why not consider posting on threads which reflect your interests.

I have no problem with "forum clean up". I do have a problem when they ban folks who I agreed with most of the time about the negative affects that the gay agenda has on our society. We even have one little fella there who has a fascination with fecal matter and calls GW the "Wet FArt President". He is still there by the way

There is not much that anyone here can do about policies of another forum.

The problem with venting is that it's up to each individual reader of the vent to decide whether they agree with you or not. And your vent is up forever.

How about venting on a word processing file for now, think about it overnight, read it again tomorrow, then return to discussing conservative issues after the storm has passed.

What am I venting? I am not ranting on about how PW sucks or anything. I just posted this because I thought it was worthy of one. Maybe I was mistaken about the kind of folks I would find here at Free Republic. I thought I found a place where I had something in common with other conservatives, but unfortunatly it seems I was wrong.
