You must live up near Starkville?
I know that in Hattiesburg, there were signs at the convenience stores that read "The Coldest Beer Allowed By Law!" I didn't know what that meant until I heard you couldn't sell cold beer in Starkville.
Hattiesburg is a wet city, but half of it lies in Lamar County, which is dry....

Thanks! Too rich for my taste. The old beer cooler and ice will just have to do.
Now if they could make one of them beer belly gadgets with cooling option,, I'd consider hocking a beer fridge.. ;-)

It was the blackest night
There was no moon in sight
You know the stars ain't shinin'
'Cause the sky's too tight
I heard the scarey wind
I seen some ugly trees
There was a werewolf honkin'
'Long the aide of me

Im in Lafayette actually, at Ole Miss. Its especially nice in the winter when you can go to the Beer Barn and get cold beer there.

Want a simple outdoor beer-cooling system?
Take a rag. Soak it in gasoline. Wrap it around a beer can. Put can in a shaded breezy spot. Wait until rag is dry (depends upon the breeze, but should not be more than 15 minutes). Rinse can with water. Drink cold beer.
Gasoline is volatile, and evaporates off. As it evaporates, it draws energy from the beer (through the can) so that it can go from liquid to gas. Beer gets cold.
Just one thing. Don't smoke around beer you are cooling with this method.

I second that. Forcing folks to buy warm beer is simply un-American. It takes 15-20 minutes to properly chill a beer in iced water. Might as well be a lifetime.
