Presbyterian Seminaries: Schools for Anti-Semitism?

In recent years, a curious thing has happened among many left-leaning clergy and scholars in mainline Christians churches: They’ve embraced the Palestinian cause, vilified Israel, and held Jewish groups at arms length. Is it a case of old-fashioned anti-Semitism? Or is it something worse?

Christian religious leaders and scholars from mainline churches are giving the Judeo-Christian heritage a new twist: Islam. Those with a left-wing bent have been working overtime in recent years to find common ground with Muslims – all, ironically, while holding Jewish groups at arms length. They've joined the ranks of the world's Leftist drones, doing the bidding of a warped ideology. My CAT is as much of Christian as many of them are.

I'll take issue with a couple of points. First, I don't feel obliged to believe that these strange "Christians" are well-intentioned.

Second, I object to the implication (later in the article) that there is some contradiction between anti-Semitism and hatred of America. The two things go together very well.

I'm with you on your second objection entirely (I am not the author of this piece).

On the first objection, I think the deal is this: very few people actually wake up in the morning, twirl their moustache and think, "how can I do evil today?"
