HAIFA, Israel -- Iranian Revolutionary Guard Units reportedly stationed in Lebanon fired many of the Hezbollah missiles that have slammed into the Jewish state the past few days, multiple sources told WorldNetDaily.
Over 150 Katyusha rockets have bombarded northern Israeli towns since Israel started retaliating inside Lebanon this past Wednesday following a Hezbollah raid in which two Israeli soldiers were kidnapped and three soldiers were killed.
The major port city of Haifa, Israel's third largest population center, was struck Thursday night, marking the furthest a Hezbollah rocket ever traveled inside Israel and placing over 2 million residents toward the north of the country within rocket range.
Israeli security officials told WND tody they have "concrete information" Iranian soldiers stationed at Hezbollah positions in Lebanon have aided in efforts to fire missiles into Israel since Wednesday.

That being an act of war, and Israel being our ally...
I wonder how much our government will tolerate by launching a salvo in response and in defense of Israel.

I question the source.
Before the people jump all over you, let me just say that this story has been reported by more reliable news agencies than WND. It's true.
I wonder how much our government will tolerate by launching a salvo in response and in defense of Israel.
I think our government is going to be very reluctant to put our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan in harms way. Our involvement could cause the locals to attack our troops.
Since Iran has publicly stated that it has no military personnel in Lebanon, it would be completely legal for Israel to shoot them as spies when they are caught. Would Iran admit that it lied, or would it just cut these fanatic suckers loose?
It'd be great if Israel could capture one of the Iranians. It'd be even better if Israel killed them all.
This an ACT OF WAR in my book. Until Lebanon gets control on the southern half of the country, Israel has no choice but to take care of the problem themselves.
This story is nonsense. If Iran wants to shoot missiles at Israel, it will be more than 1, and it will be from Iranian control inside Iran, not at potential Hezbollah gunpoint in Syria.
World Nut Daily is filled with fear-mongers. It's what they do.
I so want to nail Iran on something like this.... but the fools rush in thing.... I also question the source

Yes, there have been other reports of Iranian involvement, but the more the better, just to make the point.
As NinoFan stated, this story was also mentioned by other, more reliable news sources. Besides, if Iran were to fire missles at Israel from inside Iran, that would definetely bring both American and Israeli retaliation down on them. I don't think they want that, at least not yet. At least for now, anyways, they'll probably settle for firing from Lebanon, which gives them some deniability.
Southack, "This story is nonsense" isn't true at all. I don't know why you continue to deny the Iranian involvement. Go through the other threads here and see what Israeli intelligence is reporting. The Iranian guard have been directly involved in several missile and rocket attacks. Not only did Iran supply the missile, but Iranian troops have been assisting the setup and use of the more complex technology required in yesterday's ship attack as well as attacks that are going on now.
As for WND, you ignored the point of my comment which was that other news agencies are saying that Israeli intelligence has told them the same thing. Having a back and forth discussion is pointless when the content of ones post isn't even read.
