What do you carry that you need one of those anyways?

Pens, cell phone, dental floss, radio, knife, money, batteries, tape measure, sometimes paperbacks, sometimes listerine, sunglasses, sometimes sunblock, etc., etc.. Sorry but I need to have STUFF on me at all times when outside.

If Jack Bauer can carry around an oversize purse, then I can wear a Handy Pack. BTW, now that I remember, I use to be worse. I used to wear a Handy Pack AND carry a tote bag. Someone gave me a couple of hundred brand new blue tote bags. I sold most of them and kept a few for myself. However, I broke the tote bag habit and just need a Handy Pack strapped around my waist whenever I am outside.

I guess I'm biased because my mom wears fanny packs on vacation, and they're kind of silly. I remember wanting one so bad when I was like in 3rd grade, because that's when they were cool. Not so much anymore.

I'm another "other" because I'm a Mensa member, but...

even though I came in over the 99 percentile level on the Mensa test, I have no idea what that means.

It made me kinds happy for about five minutes until I realized that everyone i knew was, by definition, not as bright as I am, but they all made more money and got laid on a more regular basis.

So, what's the point?

In one of my posts yesterday I used a DUism and later wondered if people here thought I just didn't realize the correct spelling of the word. Or, is that wandered? ;-)

I do have to admit to being pretty lazy with my grammar and spelling when posting or writing emails.

Okay, in this DUmmie's defense, "teh" is the most common misspelling in the English language, and it's an easy mistake to fail to correct if you're, say, pounding out rapid-fire messages in a chat room or something.

But if you're trying to convince people that you're smart with a non-time-sensitive message in DUmmieland... well, I've got no choice but to make fun of him.

Heh, my teacher called me into his office in tenth grade for using the word "miscreant" in a paper. He asked me the definition, had me use it in a sentence... the guy was convinced that I had plagiarized the thing.

At least this DUmmie admits he couldn't motivate himself. Another DUmmie tried to blame his lack of motivation on his friends and parents. It was their fault he flunked out and lost his scholarship. I seriously doubt he gave his friends and family credit when got the scholarship, but it's their fault he blew it.
