The problem with Podcasts is that most of them are BORING. I was producing my own half hour Podcast when I suddenly realized that part of it folks would like and other parts they won't like. Therefore I rethought my strategy on Podcasting and am going to go with SMALL bits of just about 3 minutes each. Therefore if someone doesn't like a bit they can bail out without missing out on something later. Likewise someone will know right away if they like the soundbite or not. Key word is BREVITY. Do your thing in audio, and then exit quickly from stage left. Most people have limited amount of time so best not to overstay the welcome.

That makes some sense. So much of podcasting has been music, and my misical tastes are very restricted, I just don't have any interest. Ast for podcasts such as Rush, I can boot it up on the PC. I'm infrequently away from home, but when I am I have the radio in the car. Even my Ipod, now, seems like a worthless purchase. I only use it when mowing the lawn.

What seems to be convienently forgotten by "Progressives" and the MSM are Cynthia's first statements to the press regarding the incident; specifically her claim of "improper touching" by the officer. No one ever called her on that obvious dodge, they just quietly looked up into the sky and whistled a happy little tune while hoping that she just shut up.
Even progressives see her as a one-woman cause wrecker.
Oh, and if you really so much stuff to carry that you need a pooftah pack, hire an illegal immigrant to act as a manservant / mule (doing the jobs that Americans won't since Dems lost power).
By the way, "pooftah pack" is available for a nominal fee if "waist pack" doesn't work out. Seriously, keep up the good work.

Has the definition of free speech changed? Wouldn't allowing it to stand despite the fact that some find it "offensive" (I wonder how many of those are actually black) encourage rather than discourage free speech?

Sheesh! The condescending racism of "progressives" is absolutely disgusting! Would this thread even exist if the same ad was directed towards her opponent? Because Miz McKinney is "African American" and a "woman" she has to be treated differently than anyone else running for office? Unreal!
Serving such an Ad here, on the front page, at the top of the page, can only serve the enemies of the Democratic party, not Democrats, nor even liberal or progressive Democrats. It's extremely offensive and divisive imagery.
Actually these posts "serve the enemies of the Democratic Party" much more than the ad. Evidently you feel the Miz McKinneys of the world aren't capable of playing in the same political sandbox as everyone else...they need "special" rules just for them. The segregation of low expectations proudly on display in today's "progressive" community! When will minorities wise up and realize they're being used by people as an excuse to whine and moan about "evil" republicans? What has 40 odd years of "social programs" done for them? Now they're beholden to their democratic overlords, living in rat-infested ghettos with piss poor education (despite money thrown into their schools) and little hope of breaking the cycle of dependency while living in fear of losing their handouts because of the constant barrage of fear-mongering they get from "progressives".

McKinney had two opponents in the primary. One was black. I don't know which one is in the runoff with her but I assume it is the black because of the makeup of her district. Don't these remarks then reflect a bias of 'my black is better than your black based on unproven ties to GOP crossover?
