The UN, like many other govermental organizations is overly concerned with being "politically correct". As I gave a little thought to this fact, it dawned on me, in a rather humorous moment of politically incorrect thought, that perhaps what got these "international observers" killed was the very policies the UN prides itself on, being "politically correct".
Follow me on this one....these "international observers" are, as their title implies, from other countries, As far as we know, the four who were killed may have been from China, Somalia or even some back-water place like tajikistan.
According to UN officials, the four "international observers" made no less than 10 phone calls to the IDF informing them that ordinance was landing dangerously close to their position. Could it be (now follow me on this one) that not one of these four "international observers" were able to speak English or Hebrew, and what the Israeli forces thought they heard on the other end of the phone call was some meat-head saying "...na na na na boo boo"? Or perhaps "a little more to the left."?
