There are two files in your FaH directory that will show you the status:
unitinfo.txt contains info on the current work unit and it's status.
fahlog.txt contains a text log of all of the program's recent activity.

SC got it right, but I highly recommend Egon's monitor as well. You get estimated finishing times, point production, and much more. And you can check all this from anywhere you can access the internet.

Hmmmm... When I click on the overclocker page to look at our team, the trend shows that we're in decline... Better get some more recruits! (or get some of those "inactives" active).
To: Son Of The Godfather
It is hard to determine long term trends from the past few weeks. Stanford has had many server problems and had to recalculate points on a lot of work units. Stanford has also been assigning work units that take FOREVER to complete and see the points.
We now routinely have over 1,000 cpus donating work units. We want to have over 1,500 cpus donating by the end of the year.

I believe that some/all of Klutz's borg are now going out of production over the weekends. That makes a big difference, too.

You should have folded on that last hand - you wouldn't have been caught bluffing. That's why you should switch from draw poker to Texas Fold 'em.

In most cases the production drop is attributed to:
Stanford servers unable to efficiently process work units, in some cases assigning incorrect values;
Folding@Home delivering work units that take much longer on certain processors;
Stanford ran out of deadline-less work units. I don't know if it has been corrected.
We have also seen many bad and out-of-range work units. Try rebooting and cleaning out the work files on some of your remote systems.

TB-
All good answers and may relate to an individual drop-off, BUT it doesn't help why our *team* is showing a decline. I just clicked on 20 other teams and none of them show the decline we have. In other words it doesn't seem to be a systemic slowdown that everyone is feeling. It seems to be related to our big dog Klutz slowing down and several other FReepers just dropping out and no longer folding.

Yeah, but I explained my ups and downs. I'm a M-F guy, with the large majority of my systems only crunching and folding from 7am until 4pm. Wednesday nights are my only 24hr session, and on nights and weekends, I only have about 40 full time folders left.
Special occasions, I can get permission to run all systems 24x7 for 5-7 days, but the energy gods are hounding my heels, and I have to carefully pick my moments.
