And Rush's suggestion that it might approach $2 a gallon come November is wildly optimistic.$2.19 this afternoon outside of Cleveland Ohio.

"Is anyone worried about how falling oil prices will impact the election?"Boy, they're really up a creek. First falling oil prices, now it turns out, the Ozone Layer is Recovering
Dammit! The world was supposed to only get worse with Repugs in charge!

You can see how much they CARE about the little guy paying for gas.

Remember, 60% of us aren't nearly as dumb as we look.Based on the looks of the liberals I know, I'd agree--you're even dumber.
To: NeoCaveman
Where in Cleveland was that? I'm still paying 2.63 here in FL.

If the Republicans hold the Congress, or even add to their seats, it will be awesome viewing to check out DU that day--the hate, the invective, the insults.
When what they SHOULD be doing is wondering how come this moron Bush keeps kicking their butts. But they can't even think about that, because they just KNOW they're all so much smarter than that dope, so he CAN'T be beating them...
This is called losing contact with reality, aka being a Democrat.
If they lose in 2006, and if they lose again in 2008, that party is finished. The lefties will split off into one contingent, and the sensible moderates will join the Republicans, leaving the Democrat party to the union leaders and disgruntled minorities who think the old games and the old coalitions have any meaning in a post-9-11 world.

Average DUmmie: Isn't it CONVENIENT how time moves in a chronological fashion, so when good things happen, it becomes somewhat closer to ELECTIONS? HOW CONVENIENT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mentor Ohio at the BP right off of Route 2. It was 2.39 this morning but when I went out to lunch it had dropped to 2.19.

I know where that is, although I haven't been to Mentor in a very long time. Prices will drop like that here too, we just haven't had 2.19 in a while.

This happens every year at the same time. It's the same cycle every summer. Just like high temperatures. These people probably should hope that conservatives win again. They seem to enjoy complaining and speculating.

If a conservative running for the nomination in 2008 wants to rally the base to his side, I can think of no better issue than Able Danger.
To: poobear
I think by "settle for" he means "not protest in favor of price controls." 'course, then people will have to "settle" for shortages and gas lines...
So yeah, DUmmies. You may not like expensive gas, but the alternative is NOT GETTING IT.

Their perception of him is so twisted that they think he'll suspend the Constitution and run for a third term just because he's eeeeeeeeeeevillllllllll.

It's classical leftist narcissism. The proles don't know what's good for them; only the enlightened DUmmies do.
Liberalism: We think you're stupid enough to need it!
