The Minuteman Project and "Operation Sovereignty"

Welcome to the Minuteman Project

The Minuteman Project and "Operation Sovereignty"

by Jim Gilchrist, Founder of The Minuteman Project
and Jerome R. Corsi, Ph.D.

From all over the nation, volunteers of The Minutemen Project are loading up their lawn chairs and binoculars, preparing to head to Laredo, Texas to join us on the border for Operation Sovereignty. From 9/11 until the November Election Day, The Minutemen Project plans to bring to national attention the threat to our national sovereignty that this massive invasion of illegal immigrants represents.

As co-authors of Minutemen: the Battle to Secure America's Borders, we have sought to sound an alarm that our sovereignty as a nation is at stake. We explain how we learned about the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America that President Bush declared, along with Mexico's President Fox and Canada's Prime Minister Paul Martin, in Waco, Texas on March 23, 2005.

President George W. Bush, center, attends the Security and Prosperity Partnership meeting with Mexico's President Vicente Fox, right, and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, left, Friday, March 31, 2006 at the Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun Hotel in Cancun, Mexico.
President George W. Bush, center, attends the Security and Prosperity Partnership meeting with Mexico's President Vicente Fox, right, and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, left, Friday, March 31, 2006 at the Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun Hotel in Cancun, Mexico.

We agree wholeheartedly with Pat Buchanan's new book, State of Emergency, that the crisis of our nation that illegal immigration represents cannot be ignored, not if we want to preserve, protect and defend the United States of America - a job President Bush evidently does not think is important enough to do.

The progress toward creating the North American Union being made by SPP.gov in the U.S. Department of Commerce is shocking. SPP.gov amounts to a coup d'etat by the executive branch of the Bush administration.

Some 20 cabinet level "working groups" in our government are working with their counterpart cabinet level "working groups" in Mexico and Canada to re-write U.S. administrative law into new "tri-lateral memorandums of understanding." Shockingly, the Bush administration is simply ignoring the Constitutional requirement that new relations with foreign nations should be submitted for ratification by a two-thirds vote of the U.S. Senate.

We have chosen Laredo, Texas, as the focal point for "Operation Sovereignty" because this town is the location where the NAFTA Super-Highway, being billed as the "Trans-Texas Corridor," [TTC] will be begun next year, if Governor Perry gets re-elected.

Thousands of Texans who are planning to vote for Governor Perry are going to be in disbelief when they receive their TTC eminent domain eviction notices because the TTC is coming through their living room. This is something The Minuteman Project wants to prevent.

Laredo, Texas, is also where a drug war is spilling over from Nuevo Laredo south of the border, threatening the lives and security of thousands of Texan citizens in the process.

Reynaldo Garza, acting chief of the Border Patrol's Laredo Sector, has disclosed he will be discussing Operation Sovereignty reporting and safety procedures with The Minutemen Project and our volunteers on the Laredo border.

Full details on Operation Sovereignty are available on the website of The Minuteman Project at www.minutemanproject.com . You are invited to come down to the border to join us, anytime from 9/11 to Election Day.

"Shockingly, the Bush administration is simply ignoring the Constitutional requirement that new relations with foreign nations should be submitted for ratification by a two-thirds vote of the U.S. Senate."

Yes. This does cause one to wonder, "Just who the hell do you think you are, Mr. George Bush?" But the Senate and Congress are no better. They put forth pathetic bills that support this ineptitude. So they get the same question put to them. And it all sounds like there's a big scam a cookin' up in that thar D.C. place and us United States' citizens is bein' taken to the cleaners...

Happens every time. Interesting, isn't it, to what extent the mods, admin, and freepattackers of this site will go to squelch discussion of this subject. LMAO, fortunately for us, there are just some things they have NO control over... like Corsi and Gilcrest, who have taken steps to announce it to the world. Thanks for the thread!

I have first-hand knowledge of this. My brother-in-law works for federal government and has been having regular meetings with Mexicans & Canadians for several years now to align energy policies.

And inside those trucks will be more drugs and illegal aliens, Mexico's two largest exports.

Those two can't control themselves, let alone control the message. Look up the video of Corsi and Gilchrist hawking their book at ground zero. He makes too many references to Satan for me.

Thanks for the post. It certainly is good that the Minuteman Project is ready, willing and able to do at least part of the Job that the President continues to refuse to do.

His contributors are addicted to the "Cheap Labor" that all of us get to Subsidize. Face it, we have been sold down the river by both parties, but each party has a different reason for their actions. The entire Legislature and the President are equally guilty, so what is it that we can do?

Writing to the President or to Congress Critters seems to be a waste of time as it says we still buy into their corrupted system.

Any protest that marches under the Stars and Stripes only encourages the bastards. It appears that organized marches under a "Don't Tread on Me!" Flag would be appropriate.

Any suggestions for a Banner?
