'Bumping' this post from last year. Although this video is posted at Google, this version is clearer. What impacted me was the reaction of the women off camera from the video as the towers were falling. They are watching right on the fifty yard line.
I usually don't watch these videos, as they only make me angry again. Still, it is this anger against the rotten fruit of Islam that impels us to seek to bring it down.

"...It's time we recognized the nature of the conflict. It's total war and we are all involved. Nobody on our side is exempted because of age, gender, or handicap. The Islamofacists have stolen childhood from the world." [FReeper Retief]
"...That the totalitarian force pitted against freedom wears a religious makes this civil war among mankind all the more difficult to engage. Loving freedom as we do, it seems reprehensible to deliberate against a religion. But this is no ordinary religion as it demands absolute obedience of all to their religion at the cost of freedom itself." [FReeper Backtothestreets]

I am here for my yearly visit. I just had to watch the video again to make sure I don't forget a single second of that awful day.
I will always remember. I will never forget!

That's a great idea! I'd probably be doing the same thing for my classes if I weren't retired! LOL!

I marveled at the detached conversation as well. If I had been that close, I probably would have been in full coronary arrest! As an Oklahoman, I know what terrorism is, but I will never understand it. My first thought would have been for ALL THOSE PEOPLE!
My sisters and I had taken a trip to NYC in Dec. of ‘99. We toured the Trade Center at night. It was the most marvelous thing, looking at the lights, Christmas and otherwise, from the very top of the building. As I watched those buildings fall, I thought of all those people in the restaurant, in the offices, and the tourists just enjoying the view.

I’m watching a special on the History Channel called “102 Minutes That Changed America”. It is 12:50 a.m., Central time. It is an excellent presentation of private, and media film of that day.
